I saw the show last week the first time. All 4 seasons non stop and I loved it. It is really underrated and I am very sad because of the deaths of Stephanie, John and Treat. Treat Williams performance was outstanding and touched my heart.
It was definitely Treat Williams' best work.

this show is so underrated. it still makes me cry.
I still watch it all the time. Wonderful acting and just great storylines and different actors all together. Loved they brought Scott Wolfe in for the last 2 seasons as well.

I'm writing this in the middle of the writers/actors strike of 2023 where I find myself unemployed and just finished binge watching this show on Amazon. My now late mother and I were big fans of Everwood and would call each other after every episode. It was actually much better written than I remembered. And Ephraim and Amy remain one of my favorite TV couples of all time. Their final commitment to each other at the end of the finale was absolutely perfect. That image of their kiss amid the ferris wheel, town lights, and mountains of Everwood over that beautiful theme music still melts my heart. It was extra poignant to watch after the tragic loss of both Treat Williams and John Beasley. That said, the audio on this video sucks.
Best show ever. Still miss it. So sad about Treat and John.

Yeah it is. As much as the show focused on Ephram and Amy, he was the real star.

@@ErikSucksAtEverything Absolutely true! I just finished binge watching Everwood (lost my job due to the writers' strike) and every time Treat Williams came on, I got sad. There was a particular scene where Andy talked about unexpected accidents, including on a motorcycle. Tears came to my eyes.
One of the best shows of all time! My fav character is Dr. Harold Abbott. He's obnoxious but he always gives the best advice to everyone. I wish it continued or maybe just maybe they can bring the show back with everyone grown up.
Loved him too! It's hard to pick a favorite character because they're all just so amazing.

One of the best shows ever on TV, even with only 4 seasons as opposed to 10, they accomplished everything the story needed and didn't lose anything along the way, great themes and music with an ensemble cast and cameos. Glad I stumbled upon it years ago, still watch to this day!
I came to Everwood very late, long after it had originally aired. But I devoured it, caught up in its warmth, its humor and its humanity. Thanks for all the great memories.

This show caught my attention coming as it did right after '7th Heaven'. I remember saying after the pilot..."Wow, that's a really good show." I think I said it after every episode of the too short 4 seasons. Thank you all for being a real and important part of my life when I was a single dad raising a girl 'Amy Abbot's' age. I felt like I had someone who could understand in Dr. Brown. Bless you, Greg and Treat, Vivian and everyone!.

Just finished watching the last season. I’d never seen the show before but heard about it. All the season were on HBO so I decided to do it. Spent a week watching it and it’s such a masterpiece. I’m 33 but watching the show made me feel like I was growing up with them and was there. Each episode was a difference lesson. I never had my parents so it felt like the family I never had. By the end of the last episode it was like saying goodbye to an old friend. It was nice that they ended it the way they did.
They had all gone through enough pain and it was time for everyone to have the happy ending they deserved.
Great ending.
Thank you Hulu for still providing us with this masterpiece.

It was tragic that Jack and Bobby lasted only one season. Best show I ever watched.
I'm currently binge watching the entire series on Amazon Prime and it definitely brings back fond memories of when I watched the show all those years ago when it first aired on the WB. The dialogue and the acting was top notch. I still find myself crying during certain heart-rending episodes. I'm still a little envious of Gregory Smith being the love interest for Emily VanCamp and Sarah Lancaster. He probably came to the set everyday with a giant grin on his face.
Thanks for this upload but I wish it wasn't hacked to pieces when it was being edited. I feel we're missing out on a lot of what was shared.

I watched every episode when it first aired and then just this past week re-watched all four Seasons!! Love how they ended it, but wish it had gone on for many more seasons!! Would love to see a "where are they now" episode to see how it all ended........
I like how it ended with everyone getting what they wanted but it just seemed a little rushed, especially the last episode.
I wish the day they could bring this show back... It would be epic!!!
I am just about through season 4 - I watch the series through completely every year or so (had made my own copies of season 2, 3, and 4 before they were officially released! :P). This show's time was cut far too short and it still devastates me. I feel so connected to the characters. Everything about the development and story lines.. it was perfect. There is no other word for it.

Ashley Franklin Bright & Hannah were mine. I mean it gives us normal looking girls hope, (although that would never happen in real life), but you gives you hope hehe.
@@joycegibbs629 Why wouldn't it happen in real life? They made Hannah look much more "normal" than she was. She was a beautiful girl and Bright was a good looking guy but not like he is now.
this show is great, I wish the cw would have picked up another season of this instead of seventh heaven which was a good show too in it's prime but by that time had runs it's course, everwood was still red hot!
Yeah, Seventh Heaven had run its course. It had long before Everwood was cancelled. But the CW was a bunch of idiots about it. DUMBASSES!!!

I think it was wrapped up well and had a great ending though. Sometimes shows go on too long and they get stale so I'm glad that never happened and the last season was just as good as the first and the ending was great.
Anyone else see Vivien Cardone and just say "when the hell did she grow up?"
I had no clue who she was until they had her character name under her. Wow, she grew up into a very beautiful young lady.

also I love Tom amandes he's hilarious and I love that he played EVC's lawyer on revenge after playing her dad on everwood lol
I watched the first few episodes in college and then dropped it (can't remember why) though I did remember having a crush on Emily vancamp and then remembering her when she appeared on the marvel movies. I just watched the whole series on netflix. It was fantastic. So happy I got to see it for the first time.

Questo è quello che lascia Everwood: può creare triangoli, spazientirti e tutto il resto, ma riesce a tenerti incollato allo schermo
perché ci spinge ad affrontare i rapporti umani e i temi con la semplicità, la naturalezza, quasi infinita purezza.
Tutto è respirabile in quella sana località di montagna, tutto è molto reale, mai esasperato, mai banale e credo proprio che manchino molto i telefilm così di tanto spessore.
Tutto risuona nelle difficoltà di un Padre e di tanti Padri rimasti senza quel colore che risplendeva la luce di una famiglia...
la moglie e la Madre romanza di una casa e i suoi figli.
E non solo per quanto riguarda le relazioni: vengono trattati temi come intolleranze razziali, eutanasia, aborto, sieropositività,
discriminazione, abuso di droghe, malattie oncologiche , solitudine , la terza età , derive adolescenziali e adulte.
E tutto senza ordinarti una risposta incauta ma mostrandoti sempre più punti di vista, zone di aria fresca o appassita,
consentendoti di avere la tua idea senza che essa venga definita giusta o sbagliata.
E questa è la mia morale in testo per questo telefilm unico e narratore educativo del tempo...

It was fun to watch Ephram chase Amy. Amy let Ephram go because she got bored with him but when Amy found out Ephram got a girl pregnant, a girl who was prettier than her, and Ephram was dating another hot girl, Amy realized Ephram was worth dating, as long as Ephram had game.
That's how life is when it comes to dating. A girl wants what other girl wants

Too bad Stephanie Niznik's passing pretty much makes a reunion not possible. I guess they could have Dr. Brown lose another wife but that would be a lot of tragedy even for Everwood and they can't recast Nina. I guess it would only be possible if you focused solely on Ephram, Amy, Bright, Hannah, and maybe Delia.

The series was originally slated to return for a season 5 but then Warner Brothers merged with UPN and suddenly there was no place in the TV schedule for Everwood.
Someone enlighten me...when they said Debra Mooney was the highest testing in history, what does mean exactly?
Basically when they showed people the show her character was liked the best by everyone.

I've seen the show a couple times on tv every now and then but never truly focussed on it, but it always looked interesting so I watched it all like a year ago or so. And it was really good early in the show, certain things I wasn't a fan of though. The constant on and off again thing that Ephram and Amy had going on. Also especially the forcing of story lines because I assume the show was cancelled? Because it felt forced as in they were in a hurry.
It was cancelled because of TheCW merger and the mistaken idea that 7th Heaven, despite being at the end of its final season, would be a better fit for the new network. As its cancellation in May 2007 showed, it wasn't.

Why is it that the "biggest" actors (Treat, because of his career) these days are not there? Emily really cant be high on herself? Chris I think is a cool guy, but he should be there.

I don't understand why season 5 was going to pick back up with Madison. He left that in season 3. She didn't appear at all in season 4 except for an" im sorry" call and nothing else. You didn't really know if your show was being picked up until the fall previews back then (especially on WB/ CW)so that would have come out of left field at that point especially since he was dating a new girl named Stephanie in season 4. So this leaves me confused. I just rewatched the entire series on freevee this week and i was actually thinking about a potential reboot idea where you could explore certain aspects of that with Treat's untimely death early this year and heres what i was thinking:
Their son would now be 17 years old the same age as he was when he found out Madison gave him up. Though he was adopted he follows in his fathers footsteps. Hes looking to get into any Conservatory that will take him so he needs help getting there. They meet because of his students makes it big and he wants know exactly how they got there but everything gets derailed by the same news..... He got his girlfriend pregnant. Will he follow his dream or will he make a similar decison leave Denver where his adopted parents raised him and embark on his journey of fatherhood in the smalltown of Everwood? Or with the help of birth father can he truly have it all?

I liked Hannah, but I didn't really like the show. Most characters like Amy and Ephram were, to me unrelatable. And Bright was sweet sometimes but still kinda douchy.
Omg there are plenty of people like each character. Ephram was sweet, a bit quiet, and nerdy. Amy was the popular, slightly snobby, on/off gf he was always pining for. Bright was very cocky, but I think he was actually very nice and actually quite vulnerable after the loss of his best friend. Hannah was the new girl, lost, unsure of herself or her surroundings, and just needing a push.
the show is pure melancholy...hard to connect with the characters, let me restate, hard to maintain a connection with the characters. There are good storylines then you get smacked with misery all of a sudden. no thanks
