Sorry for the late response. the water composition is a mix of all of those depending on what area you're in. the very backcountry has way more fresh water. the further offshore the saltier the water.
Hello, since this video was made we have changed a little bit of gear BUT easiest way to explain would be... Any reel mainly 2,500 up too 4,000 on a 7ft rod. we prefer to fish a stout or heavy rod to jig. In Chokoloskee and Flamingo we mainly throw gulp, bassassassin, slayer and a few other south plastics. HOPE THIS HELPS!!
I seem to see everyone catching and throwing back in. Doesn’t anyone eat fresh caught fish? I’d like to fish but I want to eat at least some of what I catch.
Hello, how’s it going? J and I do eat lots of fresh fish but we mainly eat offshore fish where they’re in bigger numbers. We choose to protect the Snooks, reds and etc knowing they aren’t doing great all the time due to water quality and factors like red tide. Everyone is more then welcome to eat them but many choose to catch them for sport.
A little advice on your videos, you should film the fish at least for a little so people can see the fish. You throw it back right after you catch it and we can barely see the fish.
A lot of money invested on that boat and then releasing fish that are perfectly LEGAL to keep.... In spanglish that behavior have a name..... COMEMIERDAS better buy a fishing video game and play at home!!!!!!!
I would like to say that Is a very unpopular opinion. Wether we had a cheap boat that barely floated, or a decked out Hellsbay. We still believe in protecting our fish species and environment. If you’d like to join us, we play fishing planet on PS4.👍🏽
