France - Mont Blanc climb.
After acclimatization in Switzerland we are prepared for our final goal for this trip - climbing Europe's highest Mountain - Mont Blanc (4810 m).
Very tough challenge taking into consideration the fact that we had only half day window and the only possibility was to assault from Tête Rousse refuge and having slightly less then 2 km of altitude gain in just 6 hours with a small coffee-brake in Gouter refuge.

Tete Rousse hut: 3167 m
The Tête Rousse Hut (French: Refuge de Tête Rousse) is a mountain hut in the Mont Blanc massif in the French Alps. It is located beside the Tête Rousse Glacier at an elevation of 3,167 m. Owned by the Club Alpin Francais (CAF), it is normally reached after an approximately two hour climb from Nid d'Aigle, the highest stop on the Mont Blanc Tramway. It is commonly used by mountaineers attempting to climb the 'normal route' on the French side (Goûter Route) to the summit of Mont Blanc.
Goûter Hut: 3835 m
The Goûter Hut (French: Refuge du Goûter), is a mountain refuge in the French department of Haute-Savoie. It is located at a height of 3,835 metres (12,582 ft) on the Arete du Goûter in the municipality of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. It overlooks the Glacier de Bionnassay, and is the highest wardened mountain hut in France. It is an important staging post for many mountaineers on the most popular means of climbing to the summit of Mont Blanc, known as the Goûter Route.
Mont Blanc: 4810 m
Mont Blanc; French: Mont Blanc; Italian: Monte Bianco, both meaning "white mountain") is the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe, and the highest mountain in Europe outside the Caucasus mountains, rising 4,810 m (15,766 ft) above sea level, located on the French-Italian border. It is the second-most prominent mountain in Europe, after Mount Elbrus, and the 11th most prominent mountain in the world.
