Fire Academy Class 53 - Week 5

Here's week five of recruit camp for Class 53. This week the recruits focused heavily on firefighter survival including learning how to properly call and execute a MAYDAY if they become trapped or lost in a structure. If they become disoriented, they now know how to find their way out of the structure by identifying and following a hose line out to safety. Lastly, they were taught search and rescue and the techniques to perform this task quickly and effectively.
