- A manifold, however, is a device that connects one or more blocks or isolates valves in any form of the system; this can include a ball or needle valve. From Isolating Instruments, controlling high-pressure fluid flow to regulating the pressure, manifold valves perform a variety of functions.
What is a manifold pressure transmitter?
Pressure Transmitter Manifold valves consolidate multiple single valves into a single valve block. This method allows the user to use these multiple valves in a single block to perform multiple functions and tasks without removing the Differential Pressure Transmitter (DP) from its installed position.
What is 2 valve manifold?
Two valve manifold is designed in a single block with female screwed inlet and outlet port combining isolation valve and vent / calibration valve. Generally used on static pressure transmitters, switches or gauges.
What is the principle of 3 valve manifold?
A three-valve manifold is a device that is used to ensure that the capsule will not be over-ranged. It also allows isolation of the transmitter from the process loop. It consists of two block valves - high pressure and low pressure block valve - and an equalizing valve.
What is 5 valve manifold configuration?
5 Valve manifold consists of 5 valves, 2 block valve, 2 equalizing valves and one bleeding valve. Bleed valve vent out trapped pressure through a tube to some remote location. Equalizing valves never be open while both block valves are open. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Excellent 👌 easy to understand. Doing great. It would be more helpful if you could add 5 way manifold combinations.
Oh yes Chinmay !! Thank for mentioning . Yes those combinations and when to use them. I had really found that very interesting . will share that in coming videos.
Thanks for sharing !!
Merci d'avoir produit ce genre de vidéos.
merci je l’apprécie (Thank you for your kind words of appreciation)
Excellent explanation. Never gone through such detailed information. But why are you restricting video length, challenge with your friend is for how many videos?
Balaji, I always highly appreciate your feedback, the challenge was for 4 topics. 2 more remaining then as you suggest will try to make more in-depth videos . 😊
Thanks
Welcome. Thanks a lot for your awesome Comments 😊
I'm a mechanical parts manufacturer from China. Please ask if your company has any OEM needs for this product.
You can't operate the valves at random. There is a recommends sequence in which they should be operated whether to simply drain or to verify the zero calibration or to isolate completely or to bring back on line.
Absolutely correct!! Thanks a lot for your comment. For those interested to learn in depth the sequence for eqalizing, vent / draining, isolation please refer Tony Rudalf's book lessons in industrial instrumentation it is a GEM!!!
