    I heard in an interview with Ben Stiller, that when they shot the dancing scene, they didn’t yet know which song they could license for it. So when they asked Tom Cruise to dance, he improvised and danced in complete silence. They added the song in post. 😂

    hands down the funniest end credits to any film. I wonder how much convincing it took to get Tom to do that. Comedy is really not his forte but he just killed in that scene

      @@OriginalPuro Rain Man got Dustin Hoffman his second Academy Award, which Michael Caine believed should have gone to Tom Cruise. According to Caine, Hoffman's character didn't change at all (being a severely autistic savant, he couldn't). Cruise had to show how his character developed and changed throughout the movie.

    I didn't really know Tom Cruise was talented until I saw him as Lestat in Anne Rice's movie Interview With a Vampire. I think this character is another favorite of mine.. Bill Hader really makes that one scene be so funny.. lol

    One of the funniest movies ever made. I think I might have been at the first public showing ever at comicon 2008 - there were guys with night-vision googles walking around the audience. I'm pretty sure but not totally sure we saw the director's cut. I had been up for 27 hours at that point so I can't remember. Great movie though.

    Probably THE best comedy of the 21st century. I hated the “head scene,” but has everything to make a great film…obviously should have been at least Oscar nominated and Downey should have won an Oscar

      It didn't have the balls when this came out. Robert Downey read the script and he got what they were doing but he was really worried about it backfiring. Stiller personally went to see him and told him to not worry, they he would take ALL of the flack for any negative blowback. Robert agreed. And Stiller took upon himself Simple Jack. A far more taboo thing at the time. And he did take heat for that... as promised, deflecting it from RDJ. Stiller is a rare breed. A ridiculously talented comedic and dramatic actor. A gifted writer. And an extremely good director.

    I think I am better at recognizing actors even when they are trying to not be recognized. I could tell that is Tom Cruise not only by his nose, eyes and teeth, but he also sounds exactly like Tom Cruise.
