I would do some testing I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the upgrades for the New year units, specifically Resnick in an evade team setup with Rikku and vinera, her evade is surprisingly high and her limit break with the disable and unit res imperil is excellent …also tried Oberon with gilg/seph and he does well vs slash/magic but that’s about it still was surprised he can now actually take multiple hits from them no problem
It sounds like you've already got some results where you're playing! I'd think if you were running Rikku/Vinera and doing well that Resnick could be a good 3rd option if you didn't have Halloween Lucio and some of the Vision Card overlap with them. As far as Dagger units go she's definitely 3rd best (Zidane is there too, but different playstyle)
Are mindspheres worth that much? I always stress doing turtle runs on the weekends, then spend that money in the 100x pulls. I usually get around 6-800k gil a week. All the mats you get from there can add up with stones, fusion cores, spheres and shards.
@pigbrane AHHHH YOU'RE DOING IT RIGHT! Honestly if you only modestly reincarnate, what you're doing is likely adequate. I just don't think most players optimize the gil summon strategy. The other factor too though is it depends how many units you have at 99/120. If you don't have many then you won't get the mindspheres to convert
This isn't statistically true though, the drop rate no matter what is .4% per pull. You have literally the same chance of pulling him on the Step Up as you do the Standard.
There’s also no bingo boards for the LNY units. So the best way to get the LNY units is to shell out the paid vis on the 120 lvl banner.
Lunar Resnick was the MVP of the last guild raid for me, she has 3 hit moves plus slow or CT down depending on what the raid boss is weak against.

For collection sake, I wouldn't mind burning 5k paid to have the new year units at 120.
That is if I have 5k paid laying around.
