i’m on iPadOS 16.1 using the ipad mini 5th gen. I double checked the battery mAh capacity, i typed the right capacity for this model and it still kept getting an error like “took long to process”.

I have a problem I’m on iOS 16.2.1 for some reason on the seventh. My battery cycle count was a 127 afterwards my battery health was about 98% now today in reports 75 charge cycles am I going bonkers or say something wrong with the software

What is going on here? I think this app is messing up the accuracy of the battery health on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Every 5 charge cycles, the battery health keeps dropping. After 60 charge cycles, it dropped to 99% on December 4th of 2022. After 65 charge cycles, it dropped to 98% on January 10th of 2023. After 70 charge cycles, it dropped to 97% on January 31st of 2023. After 75 charge cycles, the battery health dropped to 96% on February 16th of 2023. What is going on here? I’m sure my battery health is going to drop to 95% once it hits 80 charge cycles.

That is strange. Do you have the last update? Did you properly followed all the steps in the video. We also made a short YT video with a shortcut. Maybe that would help. Check it out
Hi! Do you think that my battery health data might be glitching because it shows me that it dropped from 100% to 98% in one month and two weeks. Is it normal? I have an iPhone 13 and I purchased it back in December 2022… I’m an average teenager user, about 3-4 hours of screen time, I only have two social media apps, I only use headphones… I just think it shouldn’t have dropped two percents already. I’m still at 101% battery health with 53 charge cycles. Don’t pay attention to the MAH, nominal charge capacity, Apple raw charge capacity, etc. I don’t think it’s an accurate measure. Just pay attention to maximum battery health and charge cycle count.

It’s because you have selected the wrong analysis data try to find the other on the same day and that one is yore iPhone (if the top row after os version says whatsOS its the wrong analysis)

@@moviesfreak5203 i found the issue it’s because we accidentally changed the order of the dictionary things Just delete and install it again but make sure you don’t accidentally change the order of dictionary details when changing value of design capacity

The whole math of yours is based on finding the cycle count from apple's data analytics. That data is inaccurate or else is not the correct data. All MacBook have most accurate way of identifying battery cycle count. For iPhones, which I confirmed with apple tech support via chat, you can check it by chatting with them and they will start the diagnostic process. Once completed, they will let you know the accurate no. Mine came to be 69 cycle as per chat agent which is accurate and aligns with the purchase date in Nov 2022 and current time of Jan 2023. With the method on the video, it came out to be 542. lol. PLEASE DO NOT rely on this method; talk with apple and it took me 5-10 minutes with chat agent and they told me the most accurate data. Good Luck.

Also for the first time I’m able to see the battery health on my iPad which isn’t possible to see in the settings. I have a tipp for everyone who wants to use this shortcut with multiple devices: duplicate the shortcut, give them different names like iPhoneBatteryCycleCount and iPadBatteryCycleCount and type in the right mAh "design_capacity" for each device/shortcut.

@@moviesfreak5203 i found the issue it’s because we accidentally changed the order of the dictionary things
Just delete and install it again but make sure you don’t accidentally change the order of dictionary details when changing value of design capacity

Works but shows wrong count. My last count on iOS 15 was 481. It now shows 94😂

If you have an window laptop or pc, try using 3utools to find accurate details.

The whole math of yours is based on finding the cycle count from apple's data analytics. That data is inaccurate or else is not the correct data. All MacBook have most accurate way of identifying battery cycle count. For iPhones, which I confirmed with apple tech support via chat, you can check it by chatting with them and they will start the diagnostic process. Once completed, they will let you know the accurate no. Mine came to be 69 cycle as per chat agent which is accurate and aligns with the purchase date in Nov 2022 and current time of Jan 2023. With the method on the video, it came out to be 542. lol. PLEASE DO NOT rely on this method; talk with apple and it took me 5-10 minutes with chat agent and they told me the most accurate data. Good Luck.

Also for the first time I’m able to see the battery health on my iPad which isn’t possible to see in the settings. I have a tipp for everyone who wants to use this shortcut with multiple devices: duplicate the shortcut, give them different names like iPhoneBatteryCycleCount and iPadBatteryCycleCount and type in the right mAh "design_capacity" for each device/shortcut.

I tried this on my phone 14 pro max battery 4323mah capacity. I did exactly what you did, my analytical data has been Been on the for 5 days.
But when I copy the data paste it run it the same battery value is different, and cannot run shirtcut.
