    RV stove oven combos in good shape have a value people like to put them in cabins workshops or outdoor kitchen because of their small size and they're easy to remove so keep that in mind when you're tearing apart RVs

    Amazing two day haul. It has to be relaxing messing with cars like that. I know it's a lot of work and you make it look easy but from a young age I always loved to go to a friend's wrecking yard and watch the crusher do it's thing. They would page me out in the yard to go home. Aside from being a heavy truck mechanic all my life my number two dream was to own a wrecking yard. But a 31 year career as a truck mechanic/Supervisor at the City of Mesa took center stage especially with a young family back then. Take care my friend. Until next time.

    Silas we have a shredder here in North Little Rock , Arkansas , unload next to it see how the separate types of material is fed to a different conveyer and dumped in piles surrounded by concrete enclosures that front end loaders scoop up and load into dump trailers or enclosed trailers . All of the scrap is not any larger than silver dollar . They don't take tires or gas tanks . The shredder is the hammer anvil type that beats everything to pieces . A lot of the steel is loaded on barges across the river and shipped . The last time I saw the shredder it separated stuff into about ten different classifications . You gotta see it to believe it , it's so Cool . Great videos

  • @jeffryblackmon4846
    @jeffryblackmon4846 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Consider using a flatbed straight truck to pull your trailer. You could double the load per trip. And if you hired a driver to take the loads to the shredder, you could spend more time crushing cars.

    I agree about the time change. We lose an hour of daylight in the evening in the UK in winter. My body never gets used to it as summer time clocks are the setting that is in synch with nature and my brain.
    Another thought; why don't you get a semi for yourself so that you can take more cars to the claw in each load?
    It was just your luck that with your hundreds of cars you didn't have one with the correct brake part!

    I'm guessing the seats were from the Olds Silhouette? I bought a 2003 new, drove it 190K miles with original spark plugs and original coolant, until the tranny died. Everyone who changed the coolant needed a manifold gasket within a year, so I never changed it! Great minivan, for the 190K miles, the trip computer says it averaged 26.2mpg. Exactly the same as a V6 Audi A4 Quattro I had before it.
    The other commenter with the theory that the guy just needed the bolts for the seats might be right, except that if the seats were like mine, there were no bolts on the middle and rear seats, they had catches you could release to take the seats out and put them back in. But there were other kinds of seats available, based on trim level and options. I actually still have the seats, because the last few years I just used it as a cargo minivan, and put the seats in my warehouse, pretty much like new. Same color and texture as the ones you sat the cars on.
