It was so painful to watch them after he took her eyes, even more after she gave birth 😢she was so depressed she didn’t care about anything you could tell she gave up. She just wanted to leave. 🥺
The birth of their son was a bitter sweet moment for them and always makes me cry, he thought he was acting in her best interests and protecting her, but when he took away her eyes it was the cruelest thing, I understand that he was trying to save her life and he had to go and take punishments etc to allow her to keep her life after she gave birth but it was horrendous. I wait for the moment when she gets revenge and takes back her eyes and that bitch gets everything that’s long over due to her it’s brilliant!!!!
Agreed, but his biggest mistake wasn't just taking her eyes; he let her feel and believe she wasn't important to her. He never communicated to her and allowed her mistreatment for so long she grew to resent him.
And his "'protection" blinded to her withdrawal. Even the moment she pulls away he doesn't explain why he placed her in such harrowing conditions.
In the end he was simply a coward! He did say he cannot protect her anymore before he took her eyes out. How is she to forgive him?

Completely agree. When it's known she's actually a goddess on her mortal journey all hell should have broken loose. Oh he loves her but that's little protection from a woman scorned and abused. The heavenly realm and it's occupants have a lot to atone for how they treated her, not just him even though i'd smack him worse. Missing her is his penance but not enough.
I can't watch these scenes anymore, I feel so cheated. All that torture and the most shameful people responsible for driving her into despair were still acting all superior in the end.
Well the heavenly ass was running scared that's why he told Yuehua that he couldn't delay his marriage any longer. He was scared that the fox tribe would retaliate for what they did to their Queen/he wanted to keep the peace. I wanted all of them that were responsible for treating her like crap to pay for their actions....especially the heavenly ass.

Except when it turns out the person they mistreated and drove into despair in the first place was actually the lady of the Fox tribe they went back and treated her even worse, not only did they never apologise, but they blamed her for Yehua's demise after he fought their war for them. And they never even regretted any of their shit.
@@pirimpallopirimpalli4932 they didn't treat her worse.....they didn't give her a warm welcome...but they didn't treat her any worse than how they treated Susu. They actively tried to kill Susu....they were rude as hell to Bai Qian. In there eyes they did nothing wrong...but the heavenly ass was scared that the fox clan was going to retaliate once they found out how they treated her....of course they blamed her for his death...it's easier than accepting the truth....they caused his great pain with their actions....the parents were weak/lost the right to raise their son because they didn't have the balls to stand up to the heavenly ass even after seeing how he mistreated Yuehua...all because he wanted to claim glory that Yuehua was better than Mo Yuan. They were never going to apologize to her because in their minds she was going through a trial...and in their eyes they did nothing wrong. It's the same reason that Bai Qian didn't pursue the matter....it was her trial.....she just took back her eyes. If they treated Bai Qian as harshly as they treated Susu...all hell would've broken loose. Her brother even warned Yuehua about treating his sister right....if not then he would have to answer to him. The heavenly asses didn't treat her with the respect that she deserved....but they didn't treat her as badly as they did Susu.
@@shontelagrone8713 Nope, it doesn't make any sense that you would be scared out of your mind of disrespecting your very powerful ally, and when you find out that you did just that you keep disrespecting them worse (it's worse when you do it to their face and you actually know they're your ally). The reason Bai Qian didn't call them out on it was because she took her specific vengeance on Su Jing on her own, and because as their daughter-in-law this show didn't want to portray her as unfilial.
And I don't know where you got that they wanted to claim that Yehua was better than Mo Yan. By the way, there's no "u" in Yehua.
A lot like present day politics, isn't it? Actually a lot of misgiving was on the part of the mother. She had lost her child & was prevented from claiming his body. Naturally, she was bitter & resentful & spewed out a lot of bile to condemn Bai Qian. Even though, she knows how much the couple was in love & had already been acknowledged in the heavenly kingdom, it was just a matter of time to set the wedding date. Had that battle with Ching-Qiang not happened they would have married without a hitch.

I agree. He didn't even realize the moment that he lost her. He just assumed that everything was going to be fine because she was still alive....but in her soul it was done and over with....the fact that she started to recoil whenever he touched her was a clue...but it never entered his mind that he lost her. I don't blame her for wanting to leave. His first mistake was not putting Su Jin in her place after her first scheme....it just allowed things to fester....His second mistake was keeping Susu in the dark about the real danger that she was in....if he would've prepared her maybe she wouldn't have fallen into Su Jin's trap. His third mistake was underestimating his evil ass grandfather.

If she wanted to make the heavenly asses pay for what they did to her.....the entire fox tribe would be down. The heavenly ass fears them...that's why he told Yuehua to hurry up and marry her...after they found out that she was Susu. Mo Yuan would definitely fight for her...along with her 16 brothers....aka Mo Yuan's disciples. Now that's a battle I wouldn't mind seeing.
The easier way to understand this painful events: it's the Goddess's trial. By hook or by crook, she had to undergo it to pass/upgrade her power. Qian Qian understand this and choose to drink wine to forget this "trial".
NO, not really. Yes it was her goddess trial. Or rather turned in to one as it was not a scheduled one. However it doesn't excuse the actions of her would be in laws and fiance. They didn't do things to her because it was her "trial". But because they were that sort of people and other than Ye Hua, none of them acknowledged their mistake or the wrongs. Ye Hua regretted, compensated and redeemed himself. They didn't.
Immortals divined and prepare and plan their trials. They go to mortal world for such love trials to minimize the effects on their real Immortal life. or face lightnings as Immortals.
As it was, she earned permanent damage to her Immortal body( loosing her eyes and memories) and deep lasting psychological damage. She had developed PTSD and recoiled at Ye Hua's touch. And it couldn't be ignored as a temporary stint in a mortal life time to gain experience or a lesson of some sort.
It would have an end of her engagement as an Immortal high goddess of the Fox tribe but for her taking the potion. And she still became even more reclusive in her life to avoid all sorts of gossip about her because of the engagements to celestial family that seemed to go no where. No actual wedding in sight. Ye Hua could still have concubine if he chose too. But the so called engagement blocked her from having any sort of love life with anyone else. All other potential suitors blocked effectively.
Celestial empire wanted the marriage to secure alliance with Fox tribe. They jeopardized it all by their mistreatment but refused to acknowledge any fault on their part. Let alone their treatment to Su Su, their treatment to Bai Qian was also quite disrespectful, just because she was the would be DIL of their family.
Ye Hua grandpa and father are nasty people and his mother too is rather selfish and unwise. She raised SuJin but never tried to correct her misdeeds and only aided her. Yet she downplayed and disregarded the mistreatment to Bai Qian, in name of her "trial".

Ele sofreu muito, inclusive a punição dos raios por ela, para evitar que ela fosse condenada à morte pela trama da princesa. Simplesmente ele achou que demonstrando que não tinha interesse por ela estaria a salvando da ira do imperador celestial que tinha a intenção de condená-la à morte depois do parto, fez de tudo para se tornar príncipe herdeiro e poder cuidar dela sem a intervenção do imperador, não contava que a consorte iria minar a confiança de Su Su em relação a ele. Acho que ambos sofreram muito, ela mais por desconhecer todas essas restrições e julgamentos do reino celestial

He had no choice but to take her eyes for the evil woman Su Jin. It was the only way to save Su Su’s life. Su Jin pretended that Su Su pushed her off this terrace into an abyss that is dangerous. When she did that her own eyes were burned so the Emperor demanded that Su Su’s eyes be taken and given to Su Jin. He also wanted her to undergo lightning strikes that would kill her but the prince chose to take them himself. It was horrible. After that Su Su no longer wanted anything to do with the prince because she felt betrayed.
