I’ve loved seeing Emma be so real. As a past CF Kids coach and mum of now 3 girls, i hope she keeps finding the fun. CrossFit ‘Games’… enjoy playing. You can see she’s been brought up with all the positives from the methodology. Well done to her family.. thank you Dave, I’ve watched every interview, it definitely has been great!
I've listened to every songle interview and this one is my favorite. You did an amazing job interviewing since you actually helped her to think of the games as fun instead of focusing on the expectations. I hope she brings that mentality to the games.
The youngest athlete to compete at Semifinals was Reese Littlewood (17) who is coached by John Warnek. They’re not technically a part of the Training think tank camp but they have visited, trained with us, and very much considered TTT family!
Emma - You a worthy - just as you are! You are more than a placement on the leaderboard. I hope you are getting the help & time you need to work through your mental struggles to find what you love about you, as a person and not the athlete.
Curious if these athletes ever talk to each other about those struggles being competitors. I’m sure it’s natural for most super competitive athletes, but seems really pronounced (or maybe just more vocalized) by the very successful athletes coming straight from the teens to professional. Haley Adams, Mal both were pretty much derailed working through it. It’s a brutal profession to be all in. I imagine it’s especially difficult when your transition to adulthood is being all in juggling school and working out and never really getting a chance to live life outside of all in.
Her maturity, sensibility, and outlook are remarkable.
They're as remarkable as the guy is creepy
@@SimonMorris-b7p i think she's attracted to him
Emma will be around for a long time. So humble and relatable. Great interview

Rooting for you Emma! You’re amazing, have a big vacation after the games! 🎉 you deserve it.
I’m really enjoying all these athlete interviews. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
These short video interviews were a great idea! Really enjoying them.
Good for Dave to talk to the athletes and get to know them. And as for Emma - always great and fun. Stay free of injuries, Emma!!!

She is the most beautiful of athletes
GO EMMA!
Future Champ 4sure💪🏼
She is great!
What an impressive Young lady … really cool to see
Castro the man with many hats why not add therapist to the list.
LP will forward be burned into Dave’s brain as the Games athlete not knowing Cindy 🤣
It’s not the best plan to put that “ the future champion” pressure on her. Just let her roll without crushing expectations
