I had the good fortune to see John open for Jason Isbell in London last night. Terrific set. Worth the ticket price alone. Wonderful songwriter. Beautiful singer.
I was there too!!! Great performance! He didn't say much and kinda left abruptly but I think the crowd gave him a great reception...and he was great too!
I saw him saw play support for Jason on three of his shows. Every time John played, the audience listened in mesmeric silence. Could have heard a pin drop. So stunning were his performances.
