Hey everybody! Finally got around to making another video on where I've been and my thoughts on scomadi, based purely on my own experiences. Also where I've been. Don't forget to follow the insta @thescottmadi
Use Royal Alloy fork links, the shocker attachment point is further forward on the link which puts the shocker closer to the forks. I have a RA GP125 AC and a SCOMADI TL125 and it was one of the first things i noticed when looking for differences. Hope it helps
I tried going down a muddy farmers track and it was pretty abysmal tbf. The shocks are too stiff for all the bumps. I think you'd be better off getting a super moto or similar if yoire wanting off road and road.
Depends how cheap you can get the engine for. Mine was a stock 125 so I had more to pay for the kit and all the tuning bits but I'd say around the 1000 - 1500 mark
Scottmadi - brill thanks! I was wondering if I should put a few quid into the GY6 or bite the bullet and go 2 Stroke. Yours runs and sounds really good, I’ll check the tuning company out.
I have a Scomadi 50 with an aprillia sr moter in it with a malossi 172 read valve 24mm delorto carb and a 1 off racing pipe goes like the wind I’m in scotland I also have around 15 fully restored vespas from Gs ss t5 ect u should look up kelso scooter rally it’s on the borders many from all over r there be good to see u there
Aye mine is a 172 malossi as well. Just had a PM pipe put on but not had a chance to have it out yet as needs an mot. I've been dossing about on an lml as well but think I'm getting rid of that one
@@xiolage I didn't get much of a chance to make videos before the scoot got sent away anyway but it's definitely easier to convince yourself to go out on it when the sun is shining 😂

Got some lovely countryside to take in there. Sweet. Going to get the TT200 myself after 20 plus Vespas. Buy British company, ride British design.

Yeah I'd go for a super moto or an adventure bike then. They're both a lot more suited for off road.

@@davespooney8472 theres not much extra to be gained from trying to tune the gy6, can put hundreds in with only a few mph difference.
Scottmadi - thank you. It seems heat is the biggest enemy of the gy6, tuning certainly won’t help that!
