- Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey is hogging national media limelight for his proactive statements in response to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. But this is not for the first time his career has seen several such incidents, which are now tumbling out of the closet alongside his ‘Robinhood’ image. Being his political ambition. On March 2009, Gupteshwar Pandey took voluntary retirement to contest Lok Sabha election. However, he could not get the ticket and then he decided to return to the IPS fold, and applied for reinstatement into service.
He was in limelight when he got involved in the Navaruna abduction and murder case in 2012 in Muzaffarpur. Then serving as ADG, Pandey led the investigation of a 12-year Bengali girl. Then the case transffered to CBI. In this special conversation to lallantop's ediotor saurabh dwivedi Mr. Gupteshwar pandey, DGP of bihar, talks over several issue. Yes,during that period, while crossing Begusarai by train,l was robbed of my all belongings forcefully by few people. I was shocked but couldn't do anything. Traveling to Delhi with my mother n we were in ladies compartment.
Bengal was always like that. Kharagpur area is popular for thieves and criminals. Whole East India was affected by CPI politics of bringing Bangladeshis into India. Today, Bengalis from Kolkata are leaving for Delhi and Bangalore.
