I think everyone ignores the fact that instead of focusing multiple enemies to extend the use of the guns he got instead of just mag dumping one guy at a time he would’ve had way easier melee fights with all their health low and only one guy dead to a gun
Im just gonna say it, fallout 4 restricts too hard with weapons compared to older titles, for example in fallout 4 it is a very bad idea to be doing a rifle build, run out of ammo and start trying to use a shotgun, you deal almost no damage by the time you can have a real build set up, in new vegas you can swap between a riot shotgun and a laser rifle and use them good.

The way the weapons switch amongst themselves is seamless. There are no hiccups or janky transitions. It really does look like the player character is picking up a new weapon each time.
Yeah that's why I love in the few cod games it existed there was a perk where everytime you changed weapons you'd get a random one it felt so good going on sprees constantly switching weapons.

It’s a good thing the mod creator implemented seemingly unlimited ammo because I could not imagine trying to do this challenge, running out of ammo and having to resort to bashing
The FNV version has an Aid item which replenishes all ammo in case you run out of a certain type but in my long play through (all dlc 100% all ncr quest and side quest) I never ran out of ammo for any of the guns 50000 is plenty
I like the idea that the bombs and cryostasis put the lone survivor in some sort of whack quantum state where their weapons blink in and out of existence and randomize lol
Watching this brings back my biggest gripe of "Why can someone block a melee weapon with a bladed edge, or something like a super sledge, with their arm?"
You _can_ block a bladed edge (of something larger than a knife) with your arm if your sleeves are thick enough and/or if you're wearing even basic armor... It's just going to hurt like a motherfucker and probably break said arm. But at least you'll still have it.
When I had a working PC I tried a melee build in F4 because that's how I like to play every game and I just kind of stopped because of everyone just blocking and bashing, and turrets. It felt like the game was expecting me to wear Power Armor the whole time

I think its "grim reaper sprint" which increases your melee "lunge distance" on vats. Also, the ones that improves your stealth. So it goes like: you spot someone, target it on vats, and that causes you to teleport to it and de-atomize it in a single blow, the most broken thing, is that you can queue several targets in, and teleport-kill them pretty much instantly, since its in vats. I, no joke, one shoted the mirelurk queen with a deathclaw gauntlet that way. Its slightly difficult in the early game, but from mid game and beyond is like playing with cheats.
Looking at this mod from a statistical standpoint, the time spent with a melee weapon will vault outnumber any ranged weapon because you will likely kill something faster and easier with ranged over melee.
It also likely treats the different versions of guns as one gun. So all pipe weapons have one entry on the roll table since they are all just mods of each other where as melee weapons are not folders into each other
if i knew i was going to be swapping weapons every kill, and potentially going from a fatman to a broken stick, i would lower the health of surrounding npc's, so when i do kill one and get a flacid sock, it doesnt take 3 minutes to kill someone

I remember beating Nuka World with just a knife. I had all the sneak upgrades, the pickmans blade with extra sneak damage and maxed out blitz as soon as I could. All in all, Teleporting around the map with light armor that I never needed. It made Nuka Galaxy super fun by using blitz to teleport and quickly shutting them all down without a single hit. I highly recommend the run theme
I always play this build. Just add chameleon armor if you can find it, rooted if you need to be tanky(with blitz you don’t move) and the new dagger sold in the beginning of far harbor for the cost of your soul and it gets even more powerful. Works wonders on Survival too, low weight cost and the increased damage, just learn to dodge early lol.

I feel like having weapons only turn into the same weapon type (automatic stays automatic, heavy stays heavy, pistols are pistols, light melee stays light melee) would probably take this mod to another level. That way you can always know you'll have some kind of safety net, rather than being granted a weapon that just spells situational death lol.
@@dogdog357 ah, yeah, I suppose the fast melee pool would need to be expanded or integrated with the medium swing speed weapons. But ideally you wouldn't choose the fast melee weapons to survive with alone anyways.

I've always thought about a Hotline Miami playthrough of Fallout 4 where you can never reload any weapon and must pick up the last killed enemy's weapon and use it. This is pretty similar
Well reason Fallout 4 has less weapons, is because most weapons can be turned into other weapons pretty easily which increases the amount of possibilities but as a side effect lowers the overall amount of weapons
It seems quite a few guns became functionally obsolete and it makes the world building feel smaller. There are so many mods which focus on bringing back those dedicated pistols because the stockless rifles look comically big...looking at you Plasma "pistol"

Wasn't there a game (i think dying light 2) where if you block a sharp weapon you still get damage, less damage but still damage
@@YawnMK1 It's blitz that increases melee distance in VATS. Grim Reaper's Sprint gives you a chance to refill your AP after a kill in VATS.
If we take the moments of frustration out of concideration, this mod seems like a fun idea. Basically turn your Fallout 4 into one long Gun Game match
