Eh, you'll just pick up an accent at some point. I am Italian and have always been told I sound like I am from Southern England whenever I speak English. I don't "fake" it, that's just how I picked it up. Same happens with French, Spanish and Japanese for me- they can't hear an Italian accent. I guess it just comes natural to some of us. If you understand the "rhythm" to a language, it makes sense that your brain will make you speak the very language the proper way according to the one accent you picked up or like the most.
