If he was able to beat cancer, he would have seen me learn how to drive, go to high school, and soon get a job. He help me with elementary school an some of middle school, and cancer got to him.

I think He was like a father figure for my mom when she was younger, and they became very close friends over the years. He was such an amazing, nice and just happy man. He lived a fulfilled life. He never forgot me or my sisters birthday no matter how old he got. We just went to his funeral today, and before he died he asked to play this song at his funeral. So they did. I already loved this song before but now, it’s a lovely way to remember the man I looked up to, the man who taught me many things and the man who loved and cared for me and my family. Every time I hear this song it gets me thinking of all the close people who I knew & loved that have died through out my life. like family & close friends. Classmates, colleagues, neighbours, even teachers, even though they are now in the Earth and no longer on it they still hold a special place in my heart, And their spirits are still by me even if I can’t see them.
