I think I read somewhere that Sora's the most strictly looked over member in HL, because well she's the face of Hololive, so even collabs are taken into heavy consideration by her managers, even if it was just with fellow HL members.
So even if she wanted to collab more with her kouhais, her managers won't let her because of how chaotic the other members can get.

@@SrMissileMonkey Yeah, it’s just weird. I get that they want Sora to be at least the “true seiso” of HoloLive, but I think that ideal is about to be obsolete soon.
Hololive keeps growing now and the other members are well known and loved for being wacky and funny streamers, there’s almost no need for them to hold Sora back now and just let her vibe with everyone else.

Oh my goodness, the other versions I've seen of this haven't included Flare discussing giving Sora a pufferfish. That just makes everything that happens after even more beautiful.
Dunno but I feel like Sora is being alienated in game stream like this, she want to join in but everyone kind of don't want to bother her out of respect.
Yeah, she's been quite sad lately, she's talked about it on stream before on a call with Kotone, where she was playing minecraft and said she didn't like playing alone and even Kotone made her sad when trying to make her feel good.
Sora doesn't want to have people try to make her happy, she needs to be able to bond with her kouhai and play games together. If you've watched her adventure with Moona and how she's been acting when playing with iofi, you sure know what she's been going through as of lately.
Personally I wonder if maybe management has something to do with it. Sora is one of the few idols that is marketed so heavily as an idol that I wonder if management tells the other girls to not involve her too much in their shenanigans so they don't hurt her seiso image.
Sora always seems like she really wants to hang out with everyone (especially recently) but the other members never really seem to know what to do about it. I think we know how nice they all are and how ready and willing they are to tease and play around with their coworkers (even their other senpai) it seems odd that Sora would be the odd person out just because she's the daisenpai.
@@don_bongo i hope not. from my naive understanding, the talent should be holding the high-ground as long as the fans love them and they don't break serious policies. hololive fans are also in love with weird quirks so getting involved with weirdness would only boost her stats. i think it's just a case of mistaken worthiness causing people to put her on a pedestal and not feel like they have a right to involve her.
if management knows what they were doing they would probably be advising them to get closer. "idol-like idols" is a flooded market.
No one wants to take the responsibilities of corrupting her. But deep down she wants to be seen and treated on their level.
It's... Hard for her to join from this point. Cuz i guess the early time of Minecraft (at least) isn't really evolving around her. But in my opinion, she just need someone to stick with. Once she knew what she need to do there, she will found her place.

It's nice that Sora has been included in the group more recently. I know they joke about not being worthy of her time, but it seems like Sora wants to get closer to her kouhais and make fun memories like they've already done among themselves.

On a serious note, I wonder when did we, the fans, started seeing Sora as a goddess, I feel like us putting her on a pedestal like this has alienated Sora from having a normal streamer-viewer relationship. I thought the whole concept of Sora is to be normal and so that people wouldn't be too intimidated at starting friendship with her. I wish to see a change in perception in our community and as well as the members' perception of Sora as well..
The thing is that even the holomembers treated Sora as such. Maybe with an exception of her fellow Gen 0, but even they respected Sora to an extent. After all, Sora is the OG of Hololive, basically carrying the Company since her debut to finally reach this point. Thats why even the viewer would also treated her that way.
But I share your sentiment also. While I do not think she's being "alienated" she is indeed revered so much by the others, to the point the other feels obliged to almost excessively polite to her. I feel like, at the end of the day, the girl behind Sora is a young girl who wanted to have fun and having girls around her age or even older than her treated her like that makes her feel lonely. She must also wanted to prank others and get pranked, that's why she happily go along with Watame's prank afterwards
I guess its a cultural thing, that's why when she collab with Iofi from HoloID few weeks ago she looked so happy since Iofi did not have the same culture and therefore more relaxed.

She has to maintain an image, unlike the others because of those sponsorship deals which are for Sora the Idol similar to Kizuna Ai. Only member who is in a similar situation to Sora is AZKi even though she is under Inonaka, that's why they can collab as much they want as they represent something more than other girls.
