I was completely blown away by Royal Oud because it used to get so little hype compared to the heavy hitters - it’s my fall evening out rock star. Good to know the reform hammer hasn’t smacked or too hard yet - probably because cutting corners on the others has had a higher priority they haven’t had time to hack it to pieces yet.
I wore Creed Royal Oud last night and am waking up with it in deep drydown. The weird thing about Royal Oud is that it's a sleeper as "the best Creed ever" reputation, probably because it was released just one year after Aventus and so was buried in the intense luminosity of the Aventus popularity. After all, Aventus is the male analogue to Chanel No. 5, at least comparing their first decade. So Royal Oud got lost in all that and sort of slipped through the cracks. And so as the subsequent later release of Viking approached, the anticipation of "the first Creed release after Aventus" was the narrative. But Viking was not the first Creed release after Aventus. Weird how that played out.

I adore man in black. I regularly smell the atomiser. It's strangely addictive. It has similar vibes to Issey miyake pulse of the night without the insense to my nose more than spice bomb extreme. It's my interview fragrance and I have one next Tuesday so I'll be rocking that all the way 😎
Smells like a better version of paco rabanne one million prive, but a worse version of spice bomb the original. It does not smell like spice bomb extreme.

Also,everytime I take a sniff of it,all I can think of is a guy like Tom Ford,wearing a black suit with a black tie and a white shirt,rocking this fragrance! In terms of projection and longevity is above average,not quite perfect,but gets the job done for the first 4 hours,in terms of uniqueness and smell though,it's a 11/10... Love it!

I'm leaning more towards gourmand and generally sweeter perfumes and even though Spicebomb Extreme is 100% in my standards more than Spicebomb is,I tend to go for Spicebomb more often rather than Extreme. But Spicebomb isn't what it used to be anymore,it doesn't last that long,nor does it project like it used to. But yeah,I still prefer MIB more even though I would prefer If they both had perfect performance.
Yeah, I like it for it's maturity, but its not that hardcore oakmoss or leather or smoke bomb. It's pleasantly sweet-boozy but also mature. Very thin line that it balances, and the price is very good :D
I just smelled Bvlgari Man in Black for the first time a couple days ago. I never considered buying it cause alot of people said if you own Spicebomb Extreme, which I do, it would be redundant to own Man In Black.
