LANZAROTE MARATHON 2023

The 31st edition of the popular Lanzarote International Marathon took place on December 2nd, 2023, attracting over 2,800 runners across four race categories. Participants from 60 nationalities tackled the grueling 42km marathon course or opted for the 21km half marathon, 21km wheelchair race or 10km race. After competitive races across all categories, the eventual marathon winners were Manuel Lorenzo and Sigrun Gjølberg with times of 2:36:17 and 2:49:09 respectively. The event, hosted at the Sands Beach Resort, also featured an energetic finish area with spectators cheering runners to the finish line. La 31ª edición de la popular Maratón Internacional de Lanzarote se celebró el 2 de diciembre de 2023 y atrajo a más de 2.800 corredores de cuatro categorías. Participantes de 60 nacionalidades se enfrentaron al agotador recorrido de 42 km del maratón u optaron por los 21 km del medio maratón, los 21 km de la carrera en silla de ruedas o los 10 km de la carrera. Tras unas competidas carreras en todas las categorías, los ganadores finales del maratón fueron Manuel Lorenzo y Sigrun Gjølberg, con tiempos de 2:36:17 y 2:49:09 respectivamente. El evento, celebrado en el Sands Beach Resort, también contó con una animada zona de meta con espectadores que animaban a los corredores hasta la línea de llegada.
