Im late to the part. Just upgraded from my 150 buck A51. You took the money to buy all of these and the time to make a consciseand thorough video. Its hard to make cases exciting and i could imagine alao having to make them intresting and informative. Good job sir
I really liked the Otterbox Commuter but the problem that seems to happen is the rubber by the buttons and on the other side of the case will stretch out and look horrible. This happened on my S22 Ultra after about 2 months of use to where the case pretty much was unusable.
Yea bro same here. I had the otterbox commuter on my S21 Ultra and after a while the rubber near the corner became loose. But I still got it for my S23 Ultra because I just love it too much lol. And also Otterbox has one of if not the best warranty of any brand. They send a replacement no questions asked all you have to do is pay shipping. I had the symmetry at first for my S21 Ultra but I can't do it. Too slick and I honestly felt I needed a Lil more protection. So i Went with the commuter and imo its perfect. Really good protection yet not bulky. Also Idk if it applies to all clear cases but i wouldn't recommend the clear symmetry case because after a while it will inevitably turn brown.
I went with the Otterbox Commuter for my S23 Ultra cause it's never failed me. Haven't had many drops at all maybe one or 2 on my S23 Ultra but like always it did its job. My S21 Ultra on the otherhand would have been destroyed had it not been for the commuter lol so ya its the only case I'll use cause as I said it does its job damn good lol. Also have you heard of/tired out the Amfilm brand tempered glass protector ? I had it on my S21 Ultra and I like it better then the Whitestone which I used previously because the fingerprint scanner worked way better with the Amfilm. But this year I went with a brand named Gatatol off Amazon and I'm shocked as to how good it is. I've had it for a while now and there isn't but one suuuper tiny scratch on it literally. But anyways great review man I hope you loving this absolute beast of a phone as much as I am lol.
Hey are you using the commuter case with the screen protector that you mentioned, ive been looking for a better screen protector, currently have a spigen film and i dont like it
Awesome video. Yeah, if I recall my Spiegel ultra hybrid 2 I think it had little feet on the back to protect the clear backing from scratching up. My clear OtterBox Symmetry scratched up really bad as you say and yes I’m still rocking an iPhone 8. I had a new battery installed a year ago. Right now I have four OtterBox defender’s one is a pro because there’s a ton of them for sale on the used market that people either bought the wrong case or they just found it too bulky so you can always get them for 20 bucks ha ha. That’s why my next phone will be the SE 2022 and I won’t have to buy cases.
Hey my dude! I love the strada on the S21 ultra. And I remember it working just fine with Whitestone Dome glass. I just haven’t looked into it as you are saying. For the S23 ultra.
To be honest, my thoughts are, I have only tried the defender. And I really do like it. however, I think maybe gear4 might give better drop protection. I would be “hoping” Whitestone dome glass would work with either one of those cases.
@SomethingMobile just got it today actually and returning the gear4. Lip protection was just not there at all. Thinking Juggernaut cases next to try but pretty stuck on otterbox for protection
@@chrisboulanger1860, you can’t really go wrong with the OtterBox defender. If I could recommend something for you. Have you considered something from mous? Their airoshock gives really good drop protection. And they have built-in MagSafe if that’s something that interests you. I believe they are within your price range also.
clean out the defender every month? the case was hard enough to put on! idk how the dirt would even get in with the tight corners surrounding the phone

Got an iPhone 14 today in yellow.
I personally would prefer the Otterbox defender pro case and stick with it unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to get a replacement phone 📱 case

I highly recommend the pelican lens protectors on Amazon. Last time I checked they were just over $22.

Check out the UAG cases. They are MagSafe compatible.
Mous has MagSafe compatible cases
There's a brand I think it's called MagBak which is for the MagSafe charging
This case is junk the platic rim dont clip shut and stay, one side i can get it clipped but it comes right out,
