Sir, my confusion is, if for example i want to work on a project for a client, how can i vet the dataset which i will analyze? Please this may sound funny, but I'm very fresh in this line. It's my first week. Thank you as i anticipate your kind response sur
First you have to understand the data sources, that will help you identify potential biases or errors in data. Secondly, conduct a comprehensive analysis of your dataset by generating summary statistics and performing data profiling. Calculate basic statistics such as mean, median, mode, SD, etc. now you can sample your data and validate with the domain experts. Once this is done, you can work on data cleaning and preprocessing. Hey Atikant im currently in designing this project of maven but i am facing few problems while designing , developing the dashboard - Currently in data modelling it shows me as many to one while it should be one to many is it okay? and the total sales is showing s 530k pretty sure it should be 1.37 m and total quantity shows 830 can you help?
@@neelammehra4171 hi Neelam, you can create a new column - Total Sales = unitPrice * quantity. Calculated columns work row by row, while measures work on complete table. Once you create a total sales column, you can use that in your calculations.

This tutorial could get 10/10 unfortunately not a single DAX calculation has been explained . I mean for newbies YTD or QTY and all other calculations is something difficult to digest and learn but unfortunately you missed the opportunity to shine. Anyway good initiative to help others. Keep it up the good work and try to be more informative.
I found this to be mediocre at best. It would have been more helpful if you showed how to create all of the key measures. I believe I only saw one for Total Qty.
