Napoleon should have won. After the Napoleonic Era France was a shadow of its former self and was subject to governmental instability and many changes in governments.

I like your videos and appreciate the succinct summary of historical events. Just as a point of clarification, Louis Philippe's downfall was not due to his support of the conservatives pe se but rather his strict observation of the Charter of Government (laid down by Louis XVIII). In the years following the commencement of his reign, public mood had shifted and there was a desire for a further increase in the franchise, which Louis Philippe rejected. His decision to deny the vote to members of the National Guard, the very institution that supported his ascension to the throne, ushered in the end of his regime.

I know this was five years ago but I appreciate the clarification/ deeper dive in to the nuance of it as it almost never is black and white like history books say

I really liked this. I’ve always wondered what happened in France between 1815 and 1848. Nice presentation. By the way, has anyone ever told you that your voice sounds a lot like Bobby Fischer’s?

For some reasons, the restoration of Bourbonic rule created an even worse situation for French. At least Napoleon I did shine with his achievements.

Napoleon improved both the situation of his people and other German city states, if it wasn't for the coalition he would have brought another golden Age for whole of Europe

Not bad. But, annoying low English pronociation and grammar. Wardur-loo. One word. Waterloo. Also, 18-14. Ect. Is English his first language because he pronounces each syllable in some words. Or is that common Amer-Rican?
