Hey guys you can use a mobil 1 m10 or shorter m8 oil filter for better protection This being said your using the incorect oil you need to use a 4t oil or a t type oil cause its a wet clutch and needs to not have friction modifiers SUCH AS ROTELLA T OR MOBIL 1 10-40T THAT IS ALL THANKS! !! there's nothing wrong with this oil " Royal Oil Purple" I have read about it and from the manufacturer they said recommended for any 4 cycle engines. high stress engines which are the bikes. with that being said I have just changed mine and used oil purple 10w-30 and we'll see. thanks,
Tito Neal Royal Purple is considered some of the finest motor oil around, that being said, it's always good to check with the user manual for any warnings (usually they just specify the type though, not any brands).

did you guys had any problem with the bike after you've done the oil change using the oil purple?
Use Rotella T6 5w 40 and K&N's oil filter (Model #KN-204)
I would also drain that oil immediately and replace it with the correct oil!! To avoid any father clutch damage
did you warm the bike up or do a cold oil change
We warmed it up first.
no sump plug washer?
I don't recall there being one, it could be the previous owner lost it and we didn't think to put one on.

+Beginning Technicians your using royal purple and then a fram oil filter! yikes. fram is crap . you should used honda oil and filters bro

You should have warmed the oil up first!
The oil we were draining? We had run the bike a bit earlier so it was warmed. That is good advice for sure!
