A lot of the characters lack a lot of polish IMO, but they compile mods that exist and them to the game and eventually tweak them to look better and play better so it all ain’t on them.

I've followed your videos for about 6 years, since you were making the "Waluigi Vs" videos. This is undeniably one of the cleanest, most well thought out custom characters in Brawl history. Seriously, a lot of modders struggle to make an interesting and creative final smash this final smash is the best custom one I've ever seen for the game! Thank you for all the hard work you've put into Waluigi, and I wish you luck for your Ultimate phase. Only when we see Waluigi playable in Ultimate will everyone TRULY be here!

Definitely one the most detailed mods that's ever been created out there. Especially how well Waluigi's moves reference majority of his personality in his spinoff appearances as well as being contrast to his partner in crime, Wario. Although, it is quite a shame for those who hoped him for Normal Brawl after all these years will never be able to experience him. Meaning they're forced to download Project+ or any mod packs based off it in order to install and use him properly.
Nowadays, Project M and Project+ seem to basically overshadow Vanilla brawl mods since coders and programmers seem to focus a lot more on them. And many new players who want to join the cool club just shift directly over towards those builds. Kind of sad actually. I hope one day old packs like Brawl+ gets some modern mod treatment.

This reminds of ssf2's (also pretty good) waluigi but more advanced and i'll have to say, ssf2 waluigi having a SPIKE in his UP AIR is HILARIOUS, and the sweet spot mechanic of this is also good, but it would be funny for the spike to also be added to this waluigi

Long time happened since I've last seen this mod. It has been replaced by a moveset that has a Piranha plant and Mario Party references, Wich I never got. Honestly, this one looks more polished and in line with what Smash Brothers is and has a lot of originality like Sakurai's interpretations of characters, not limited to game references. I'm glad this one is still getting some attention.
As much as I hate cutscene final smashes, the cinematic is pretty cool, especially since there aren't any final smashes that have cinematics like that in Brawl. Also based mod, easily the best Smash mod ever made.
Captain Falcon was the only *official* one, back in Brawl By the time MKHT finished and finalized Waluigi's Final Smash, they more or less became the standard (not only for newcomers but also for certain veterans too); Tho granted, Pyra/Mythra's and Kazuya's final smashes actually have their's take place in gameplay (assuming they land on anybody) other than the cinematic/cutscene setup, but still
This release was a very important chapter to close for me and many others I'm sure. Quite the finale for you to give him a diverse moveset and a final smash that breaks boundaries. Thank you so much for this experience, and I look forward to your projects in the future. Waluigi number one!

This is my favorite waluigi. I thought about it for a second, but the attention to detail also having moves that references a game where he's the main villain (Mario DDR on gc) is fantastic. It's a moveset that honors waluigi's personality, gameplay and history.

I always liked your decade old Waluigi mod thoughout the process (ever since i first got Brawl in 2013 when i was 12), happy to see it is finally finalized after a over a decade It has been a ride indeed, hoping to see you bring this back in Ultimate.............whenever somebody adds custom character expansion eventually (yes there's several custom characters including a completely different Waluigi, but all but Akuma replaces characters cause of current liminations, and Akuma has a secret hidden twist that has yet to be figured out and redone again)

It makes me cry seeing another person's passion for making move sets realised, I have made many concepts and most of the time all ive received was negativity or being shut down because the people running the community I was in was toxic and unless you have something to show them, they don't care, I had soo much taken from me by the roa expansion workshop community mods, I've made on paper upwards of hundreds of movesets out of passion, I need to cry because I haven't found my group yet, I am making one hopefully with a Freash start through fraymakers, people can be soo soo cruel and simply don't care about the why or what someone is passionette about, this was cool to see and instills that drive in me as an artist even more so to find my pack.

As far as Ultimate modding tools at the moment, there's no way to add additional custom character slots for custom character mods like this.................for now; Sure there's Akuma from the supposed Championship Edition mod but 1) he's not public, 2) he's staking off of Ryu somehow, and 3) he had some secret hidden technique that has yet to be recreated Somebody out there has to open the floodgates and make this possible and easier
that's the King Bob Gaming variant that MKHT gave him permission to use his as a base to fill in the void, whiling MKHT was finalizing his Waluigi moveset in years
i think this is the only iteration of a waluigi moveset that i like, its unorthodox and tricky but not just a bunch of spin off references that said i dont really like the design for down special, its difficult to understand and might be cumbersome to use in battle, i prefer attacks that are simple in function and execution but can be complex in application - gordo toss, mechakoopa, power dunk, quick attack, wing blitz, and a few others, can all be described in one sentence but they can do a lot of different things

I would take a look into the dedicated modding discord servers for which game peaks your interest first. but it also kinda depends what your goal is as well, Modelling, Animation, Programming etc.

When you figure a way to Ultimate, you'll have to make Waluigi's up-smash a multi-hit, since Wario's is a single-hit now
The long wait was definitely worth it and I hope one day we'll see him playable in Vanilla Brawl. For now I'll settle for playing him in Project+.
