Songs like Tum Naraz Ho, Rone Na Diya, Rang Laga (with Sanam Marvi), KirKir KirKir, Tera Naam etc. Have enjoyed some of the finest bubbling moments and ruminative sessions of my previous decade through his songs. By the way, in this season Harkalay was exactly such a song and it was phenomenal, vocally, lyrically and visually. Aap ko nahin pasand toh koi baat nahin lekin yeh joh larka larki ki muhabbat ko aap jaise log cheap bana key apney aap ko bohat azeem samajhtey hain yeh intehayi ghalat hai.

the theme of this song is all about partition....at the beginning of the song the luggage.....the sound of the train leaving......the two birds who previously were chirping together and then they flew away and separated...moreover the lyrics....sigh......Coke Studio Pakistan is like heart beat to us....😍
I don't think it's about parting. The train seems to indicate an opportunity for this woman that she wants to grab but is also hesitant because of society's judgements which is where Sajjad Ali reassures her that it's fine for her to explore her destiny and if she's true to herself, those she cares about will understand.

I'm form Bangladesh, I just listened some of old songs of this legendary singer, amazingly his voice tone never changed 😮😮, I didn't know him earlier.
Check his 90s works and especially his albums like chief saab etc
Also listen to Sajjad’s song Salami where he says “Sar-e-Islam par ehsan hai tera aye buttshikan.” Which means “ Oh (Ali) the entire Islam is indebted to you for breaking idols.” It’s a wonderful song.
But undeniably he is a good singer.

I'm quite familiar with the works of Sajjad Ali, so I knew he'll be creating yet another masterpiece with his magical voice... But my biggest takeaway is the beautiful voice of Ms. Farheen Jaffry, she complimented this song so elegantly. Kudos to the entire production team for this impeccable production.
