4 years has flown by , as part of my research I followed your Sisterlock journey from install... I'll be 3 years loc'd in July and so happy I made this decision . Your loc's are beautiful and I'm all for a trim & you'll rock an undercut ..... Keep posting 😊
Your locs are thriving! I’ve been watching your videos from Day 1 so they are part of my inspiration to take the plunge. My third year started on Memorial Day so I’m excited to expect them to grow, Grow, GROW! Thanks for sharing your journey!
Congratulations on your 4 yr Sisterloc anniversary Elle! I’ve been watching since the beginning of your loc journey. I’m 3.5 yrs Sisterloc with thin locs. You really inspired my loc journey with thin fine low density hair. I’m proud of you for self Retie your locs. I tried once and put 4 knots in my locs I was devastated lol. But my loctician repaired the locs. I want to self maintain my locs as well to save on money and travel time. Take care keep us in the loop on your future loc journey.
Monday will be 1 year for me. You have played an inspirational role in my journey. Thanks for the encouragement you have provided with your videos. Congratulations on your 4th year. Your hair looks beautiful. You go Soror!!!! Skeeee-weeee!!
Nice to see you again! Your videos definitely helped me in the beginning and I enjoy your updates. Your hair is beautiful as usual. 😍 i am in year 3 and definitely can see and feel it dropping!
I started my loc journey two years after you. My hair is almost at the shoulder but this South Carolina heat have me rocking a loose bun. I put kaleidoscope on my edges after each retie and that has helped. Outside of that water and peppermint oil for this hair.
The thought of doing my own retightening scurrrrrd me but when I saw you do yours, I was inspired. I just took the retightening class last week. Looking forward to my 1st in a few weeks 😊
Hi Elle, your locks looks so good. I started my lock journey 2 years and 6 months. I know this is a process and it takes time, im glad you mentioned that in year 3 that's when your locks takes off. So I cannot wait for that time. However, I started my sisterlocks journey because I survived a stroke and this style because Mt hair is locked it is the most convenient for me since I have little use of one hand. I also have fine hair. I don't know if it's 4 C or 4 B I don't know, what I know it's fine. Thank you for the information on your locks journey.
You hair looks lovely. I'm just a year behind you. I would like to learn how to do my reties. I still have some challenges with the hairline and the nape of the neck because i work out as well and sweat a lot in my head.. I have been colouring mine from inception, still gathering tips to keep them from getting dried out, but overall I'm enjoying the journey.
Hey soror! Im 3 years loc'd and around my anniversary we trimmed them. My hair naturally grows uneven (even when i was natural) and it looked scraggily IMO. Looks much better now! 😂 some not all of my ends did unravel a bit. Theyre just curly now. I still braid and band certain areas as a rwault because I too still ha e some slippage around the nape of my neck. Its so frustrating and I want to undercut them and she wont let me 😂😂😂😂 her reasoning is because when they return Ill have the same problem. 😂🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😁
Your locs are beautiful as always!! I’m so happy to see how long it is getting! I have been rockin with you since day one and am always excited to see your journey. I am at 3.5 years now and these babies are really taking off (hot girl summer lol). Have you thought about coloring your locs yet? 😊

Congrats Soror on 4 years! I’m behind you in November and I too, noticed so much growth in year 3! ❤
My opinion, @0:13-0:17 is the length that looks MOST ATTRACTIVE on you.
Thanks for sharing
Omg, Elle Tee!!! Always glad when you drop a new video. Your locs have grown beautifully since Day 1! ♥️♥️♥️
I definitely know im not letting my locs get long. Mid length is perfect for me. Your hair is beautiful!

The heat is coming and I’m already over it haha

Oh wow! I wanted to take the class, but it wasn’t in the budget. I’m sure you learned a lot!!

Look at that length!!! They look so good! I’m 2 years in and ready for the take off! 😂

I’m gonna have to give mine a nice trim haha
OMG! I’m the same. I cringe when I get my retie on that back row. It’s a pain. An undercut may work.

I definitely want to color them. I’ve never had permanent color tho. So I’m still nervous haha
iiiiiiinnnnncccchhhees!!!! For days!!!!!!! 🤩
You should get a 3 way mirror to help with your reties.
I have one, I just need to get a stand of it or something. I have one that hangs over the door, but I don’t want to stand up to do my reties.
💕💕 beautiful job!! Blessings.
