Gotta love the "land of smiles"......Bangkok is definitely a culture shock, I stayed in Nana (forgive my spelling) about 20yr ago, it was a lively place at night😉😂 I wonder what they give those cats to get them that chilled?!?

I have seen so many foreigners moving to another country with a different language who expect the locals to speak English. Really irks me and I am sure it does the locals too, although they probably won't say so directly.

People that want to get on in life learn to speak English just as they learn to swim or drive a car, etc. Only Thai people speak Thai so it is not worth it trying to learn the language same as Latin or Welsh and so on. The onus is on the non English speaking nations to teach their children how to speak English which is the reason why foreign schools do exactly that.
@JazzFunkNobby1964 If you go to a country, you should speak their language, its not difficult unless you're bottom of the class or born in 64 and can't keep up with the times , Is your brain too restricted to learn something new or you just want every other person to learn your native tongue when you aren't even at home ? I travelled from Phuket to Bangkok on a train during there holiday bank holiday and I had to stand up for the whole trip. Got on the train one day arrive in Bangkok the next day stood up the whole time the train was absolutely rammed with people big problems, stop yourself falling asleep standing up. I bet your misses is watching these on TH-cam❤

I really enjoyed this episode Adam, it was nice to see what you don’t always get to see when travelling to other countries & cultures. I’ve done this myself when exploring, I’ve left the mainstream areas to explore the real life when I’ve been away on your normal all inclusive for example. I was happy to hear that the workers in the red light areas are treated as equals and have the respect of the local community. Thanks for giving us an insight into a world we wouldn’t always get to see or hear about 👍

Very interesting, glad to see you happy and something different for the channel, always good to mix it up. My personal opinion; I find most capital city’s, or large metropolitan areas in the world to be overpopulated, congested, anxiety inducing and relatively similar - countryside all day for me, look forward to seeing more of rural Thailand on your travels! I truly think the magic of these types of country’s is to be found in the rural settings. Still an awesome video and thanks for bringing us with you!- I do think the rural, beach and countryside settings you thrive in, and super excited to see them. Stay safe and stay stealthy!!

Now i've found you again I'm now dipping into your Thailand journeys and I've got to say mate, this one in Bangkok has got to be one of the best presentations I've seen from any vlogger doing the World City tour Vlogs. Brilliant mate! Really enjoyed it even though a whole world away from your usual stuff back here in Ol' Blighty. You could easily find a good job in the Thai Tourism industry mate with your knowledge of certain places along with your easy going attitude. You'd easily sell it to English speaking countries all over the world, especially to those who enjoy a spliff recreationally, or even for medication purposes. The door is wide open on that particula scene. The other adult related stuff is already renowned world over so you wouldn't need to push too hard on that side of things. Best video you've done, the subjects you've covered were done professionally and with proper knowledge, and non judgemental , it's easy for westerners to judge without knowing the full facts. Thailand like every other country obviously has it's problems but it's also beautiful.

Wow, brilliant Video mate, i personally would love to see more videos like this about Thailand, very informative, a lot of us in the west are blind to what Thailand is really about, but i think you explained it all perfectly, i'll be honest, you were brave to be at some of the places you were, but i loved it, brilliant mate 👏
