@iamitsinghx Yes you are correct. I should be more specific,when I bought the 2017 model, its was rated 3 start during that time, the first version.
No…this is the same car that got 3 stars…gncap has updated its protocol to make it more stringent…they tested it again and dropped the rating from 3 stars to 1 stars…for reference tiago has 4 stars but if they test it again under new rules its rating would fall from 4 to either 1 or 2 stars…this is because a lack of eps and side airbags means a car however safe in frontal off set test can only get a max 2 stars…so for all practical purposes ignis is a 3 star car if you say tiago is 4…better than the creta and seltos at least
