In the studio with ceramicist Vanndearlyn Vong

Vanndearlyn Vong is a first-generation Cambodian-American based in Long Beach. As a way to fight ICE's aggressive approach to immigrant deportation, she began creating ceramic donut-shaped pipes that also act as a symbol of her community.
Forty percent of the proceeds are donated to the Long Beach Southeast Asian Anti-Deportation Collective, of which she is also a member.
