About the futuristic verse, the thing with him is that he was a TH-cam rapper before he got truly famous. Whenever he says he touches his seed, it's because he's part of the reason that TH-cam rap is popular and he's close with a lot of TH-cam rappers.

@@zoejahh Yeah I know, I was just a bit disappointed because it was the best part of his verse; as a fan, I would have liked it for him to have come up with it himself.
This was definitely a good breakdown, and I would have to say that this is Cypher has the most mixed bag of all 3 of them. There were a couple of very good verses, Carly X, 100 Kufis, Samad etcetera, however a lot of them were also much more personal than a Cypher should have warranted. Ashtin Larold, Crypt, and a couple others. In my opinion, the 2nd cypher was the best, as it was more polished than the first, and in some ways than the 3rd as well, and also had the most consistent level of verses with some great ones sticking out as well. If you do decide to do the other TH-cam Cyphers, that would be very cool, as they are a good way to test the waters and check out a decent number of artists as well. I just figured I'd throw my 2 cents out there.

That Samad dude showed out on this and the Poppin cypher... His voice, flow, and schemes were top notch... I like fast rap when it creates like a melody almost... Token and JID are both really good at making fast rap sound wavy and I can see the resemblance in Samad... Crypt is also getting better at this although it didn't really show here...

I know this is late but I was just rewatching this video and didn't see anyone in the comments explain the Kunta Kinte bar. In the original "Roots" show, the front of Kunta Kinte's foot was cut off with an axe as a punishment for running away from his owner.

11:57 I think there's a double meaning here, since the words are spelled "heel" and "week", not "heal" and "weak". I think what you said is right, but in full context, the line is "We spill a soliloquy as we heel the week". Here, "heel" is what you do to a dog (short for "call it to your heel") to get it to stand by you and wait for a command. Also, it's not the "weak", but the "week", which could represent not just 7 days, but also *everything that happens* within that bit of time. So, something like, "Speaking our minds out loud, we bring events in life under our control".
Futuristic was one of the first actually successful TH-cam rappers. I remember listening to him in like 2012. He showed that you could actually gain success from TH-cam rap.

In Merkules' discography of original music, there's a lot of good stuff where the fast spit is not so "in your face". In my opinion at least. His remixes, "freestyles" and cypher stuff is mostly that "in your face" fast spit tho.
