It was never a replacement fool, Just a new family member.
Maya was taken care of very well and lived well past the life expectancy of a pug despite loosing an eye.
They took great care of her because they cared for their pets. Besides, it doesn't hurt to have a new pup to raise considering they have the stuff for two dogs.

Last July my wife showed me a positive pregnancy test at the beginning of our summer vacation and we thought we were going to be parents for the third time.
When July ended, so did the pregnancy and it hit me hard.
I have two lovely children and an extraordinary wife. My family and the joy of laughter really brought me through the winter, but I would still feel sad sometimes.
Luckily my wife got pregnant again and last Tuesday we had a midterm ultrasound and we are getting a boy.
The youngest (4y/o) said that she wants her little brother to be called Bjørn and it honestly made me smile and laugh.
We are not going to name him Bjørn and I know it doesn’t mean anything to anyone but me but I still felt like sharing.
Thank you for getting me through some of the quiet time.
