Welcome back to Greece! My wife and I are from Toronto and we moved here permanently last year. We live in the Nafplio area. It has a similar vibe to Corfu town (very Venetian) and is only a 2-hour drive from Athens. Would highly recommend exploring the Peloponnese region as a potential place to live. It's absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Best of luck!

Wow! I am from Corfu and I feel really happy to see all these beautiful places that you have visited already! Hope you enjoy my island and love it as much as I do!
Where would you move if you have 400k and 1M in corfu? I know the marina area gouvia, ag. Stefanos, Benitses, old town, Ksamil, sarandia, paxos, pretty well. Been there for months, but what would be the best place to live in Corfu? I want it to be apocalypse proof: veggie garden, 4000m2 land. But also make it rentable for tourists. In the north? Middle? Daniella? South seems death. Ionian is better for growing food, than other islands south
I vote is Naxos! We LOVE LOVE Greece as you do! It feels like home! Great tour of the island and outstanding drone shots! Hopefully we will see you Sunday! ~Cara 💖

Have just subscribed to your amazing channel. My husband and I are half way through our year of slow travel and it’s been neat to hear familiar stories and see so many places we have just visited.
Great to see you on corfu, our favourite holiday Destination, you must try san stefanos north west. Great restaurants and nightlife and the beach is to die for.Dave.
If you are in the Cyclades you are so close to to so many islands and the Greek mainland so this is going to be a good series! And islands on the off season are going to be different and special!
One of my faves in the Cyclades is Paros… My sis can’t come to Las Terrenas with us this winter, so we’re thinking of a Greek island visit in early June. Interested to see which island you’ve chosen to live, and why. Maybe we’ll see you there!
Very nice but 2 far very expensive are you guys going back to DR ? So many rivers , so many beaches and mountains to explore I’m in love with DR 1- playa Fronton ,hermitaño beach , moron beach , ecolodge samana , playa bonita , Bahia de las Aguilas beach , salto socoa monte plata, salto el 12, punta poppy beach , el Porto samana , laguna Dudu DR , Pisina natural rio Sanjuan , laguna gri gri, lago enriquillo DR , bañario la plaza Barahona, DR has it all can’t wait to go back .
The parts of Corfu you went to looked so nice! So interesting that all the different areas feel so distinct. Good idea getting that cute little car - definitely helps a lot with being able to explore the island. We're loving the bright sunny weather in these Greece videos. Great holiday vibes 😎
May of this year I visited Corfu for several days. Took a morning ferry from Sarande in Albania. Stayed at a backpacked place called the Pink Palace on the west coast. Really enjoyed the island I would go back. Some good beaches, nature, great people and food
Beautiful place for sure. That beach definitely had a Cape Breton Highlands feel to it and those gyros added a good old Nova Scotian donair flavour to the video...minus the french fries...maybe. 🤔 Lol. I can see how a Caper would feel at home there.😎
We visited Naxos earlier this year we visited Kozi and had the Naxian salad - it was the best salad we had in the whole time we spent travelling in Greece!! Plus great location right on the beach and bonus cute cats ☺️
Please do try pita souvlakia! I much prefer it over gyros. Basically pork or chicken grilled over coals, in the same pita. Chicken is a little more expensive but almost always my choice. Ask for "apo ola" to get all the trimmings, and ask for 'me sauce' or 'me tzatziki' depending on what style of sauce you prefer. The regular 'sauce' is a cocktail/whiskey style sauce (My preferred one for sure).
Omg love Corfu - great island to live in for a while - and corfu town is great too. Also there’s a tiny island up north called Othoni - try to go over night - also anti paxus
It's between Paros and Naxos and I'm going to guess it's Paros since you've said that it isn't a big island. Mind you, both are amazing so whichever it is you'll have a blast!
I was so interested to see Agios Georgios. My husband and I visited Corfu in 1986 and stayed there for two weeks. If I recall correctly, we stayed in the only hotel in Agios G. You could hardly call it a village, never mind a town. The beach was virtually empty, certainly no loungers. There were two roads leading to it, one to the north end of the beach and one to the south end and just a dirt track between. In the 1980s most of the tourist resorts were on the opposite side of the island and we deliberately chose somewhere that would be quiet. It certainly was!
