Tough to see Walt struggle.I never liked the idea of a sanded ball I was the oppposite always needing it polished.I tried a sanded ball in practice a few tiems and quickly said no to that idea.
Secondly I know Walt had most of his career's success throwing that sort of pointed hard shot over the gutter but I never liked it.I prefer to see Walt roll the ball and allow it to walk into the pocket give it at least some room.
I feel if Walt wanted a better reaction then perhaps his two handed shot was a better choice but hindsight is easy.
