He is a Kenyan Indian, probably 5th generation. Or more. They were brought by the British colonists over 200 years ago.
Thanks for watching!
Not over 200 years ago. Over 100 years ago. From around 1890.
The owner looks like a mix of Indian and kenyan.
@@teresiawachira1034Nah he looks very much Indian. You know indians come in many shades. But he looks 100% indian. Kenyan indian 😊
Did you know the Indians were brought into kenya as semi-slaves referred to as Identured workers to build the railway. Us the natives were viewed as very stubborn.
The indian population has diminished significantly, many of em migrated to the UK right after our independence in 1963. In the early 1970s the African government introduced a citizenship policy that required em to choose holding either Kenyan or UK citizenship. Many fled. Former British Priminister Rishi Sunak is a decedant of Indian parents born in kenya.
I think it would be nice to give the correct name and direction or address..I love good coffee..
Hi, the name is mentioned near the beginning of the video when we show the menu. Thanks for watching.
Good luck getting an address in Kenya. For directions, they go something like this: next to, opposite this or that
@@mikela3641just requires a search on Google maps. I didn't even complete the word 'spell', and it came up, and I'm not even in Kenya. Lol.
Are you planning to stay in Kenya
I don't think they will afford their current lifestyle if they live permanently in Kenya 😅
God willing we will be here for a while.
Thanks for watching.
@@TravelCheckIns inshallah,hope all goes well
@hassshoban8206 If they can afford the same lifestyle in the States why wouldn't they be able to afford it in kenya ?
