I loved how seriously the actor treated his little car! This short film deserves several awards. Everyone involved did a fantastic job: the acting, stunts, concept, sound, editing - the works!
Excellent use of drones for those sweeping aerial shots!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen filmmakers take a silly concept and treat it with complete seriousness. Brilliant! The closest comparison I can think of is “Brick”, but even that concept wasn’t 100 percent silly.

That was awesome! Also, with how much compressed air weaponry there is in Fury Road, the only thing that felt like it had to be dropped were the outright explosions, you absolutely captured Mad Max here.

This has to be most coolest, epic thing I have watched in a long time. Good job. Those go carts was so awesome, must have took a while to make em. It was put together perfectly for anyone that watched the movie. All it was missing was that song "Soul of a man" and then it would have been like the trailer/intro for the Mad Max game. Two thumbs up.

***** Well, there is one GoKart and a couple of CrossKarts, and thoose can go way faster than that. I get that it's hard to make a video like this in full speed, and that ruined the video for me. But great work with the looks, editing and acting.
Filip Carlén yep its how they did it in the main movie too if u get a chance to watch it look at how they fast forward it so it looks like everything is moving much faster. Which is why sometime they make the characters do stuff in slow mo too. and in reality its really dangerous if they were to do it for real .

I love everything about this, except the Color Grade. It's desaturated. George Miller intentionally over-saturated the colors in Fury Road to make it stand apart from the desaturated look of modern post-apocalyptic films. Aside from that, this is fantastic!
It doesn't feel complete without a flamethrower guitar.

That has to be one of the best things I have witnessed on youtube so far.That was better than the movie I swear. Amazing work. Favourite has to be the white face dude in the side by side with the skull.Absolute loony toon, very into his role, loved it.
Really good! But i feel like your fake backgrounds felt weird sometimes in the beginning, like the sky not matching at all, i think you should have edited all the sky and go 100% on this "apocalypse" atmosphere, like in the original movie.
But great, I really prefer that kind of work ;)

***** Should've done something about it Devin. Its so inconsistent. In one shot it look blue and right after it looks blown out. One of the most important things in Mad max is the grading, ha.
Don't have to be so rude about it, considering it's his first big project like this (I think?), but sure it's one mistake he'll be able to correct later on his other projects!

Great performance. One problem... where was the Doof Warrior? You could have low-budgeted for this, just use only 1 amp and a zippo taped to the guitar.

Wooowww I'd like to say , it's just like real. Mad max2 is the craziest movie of all time , every time I see it , it make me goosebumps like it's music throughout the movie, Mel Gibson and company did some amazing work, which can't be compare to nothing.👍

This video wasn't made to copy the movie at all. It was made to compliment and get people excited about the video game. watch the trailer and you will see that it matches and is closer to what the video game portrays. I'm personally excited about the game coming out. I along with my friend built and designed the karts. we didn't even get a free copy of the game X) but you can bet I will still be buying it!
