Rudy moves like an athletic man in forties, maybe even thirties [ I'm forty eight]. He is amazing. The fluidity of his movement, shows what keeping fit [ and hopefully free of injuries/ arthritis etc] allows
@@jonbaker1697 I’m 21 and I can’t even move like that 😂😂 props to him for doing what he loves, even after all these years. I’m seeing them tomorrow at the NYS fair and I’m excited as fuck to see him shred
Well said. The professor here...I got to meet Rudy at one of Chuck Wright's All Star Jam Nights and he couldn't have been nicer. Spoke to him for about 10 minutes about our favorite choices in bass amps. Great guy, and yeah very youthful for being in his 70s.
I miss Kevin, but this guy does the vocals really well. I loved Quiet Riot when I was a teenager in the 80s. 1980s Metal at it's finest! And I wasn't really a metal guy!
Sound engineer here, ran sound for Quiet Riot with Frankie Banali a few years ago. At 6 years old, I was a huge QR fan so this was a very nostalgic gig for me. Frankie was the sweetest guy and talked with me about rock n roll. I cherish his time with me. 🥹
I can't wait to see Quiet Riot live again, next Friday night at Esthor Short Park on Vancouver,Wa🤘🏻🤘🏻I saw them with the original drummer before he passed away at the Bossanova Ballroom.
I clicked on this, fully expecting to roll my eyes and find something else in a minute. But no! The vocals were effing great! The playing kicked butt! Watching Rudy made me feel like it was 1990 again. Keep up the great work! Somewhere, Frankie smiles.
So glad I saw the four after Dubrow, Garni, Rhoads, etc. Met em in a little club in Provo, Utah on the last Album with Dubrow. They signed a promo photo and my CD also a mirror! Nice guys!
Saw quiet riot on a monsters rock tour in 83 with ozzy, triumph, motly crue, judas preist and some others. Seems like two lifetimes ago. Glad to see rudy still out there. I miss the original Q.R. Kevin was always on the crazy train.
If people still enjoy it, who cares? I saw QR with the “Metal Health” lineup in the early 2000s. Idk why Carlos Cavazo’s hasn’t played with QR since 2003. Alex Grossi has been their most consistent guitarist since 2004.
Actually 1 member from the Classic line up. The original bassist was Kelly Garni. And the original guitarist was none other than.... Randy Rhodes. But Rudy is the best. It's not QR without him.
Jizzy can still tear it up. For awhile he seemed to be struggling but he’s got his voice back and it sounds better then ever. Not a QR fan but am a Love/Hate fan. Way to go Jiz!!
Saw Quiet Riot at the Starwood club in Hollywood and Kevin was incredible. Randy was too so it was one of the few shows they played at the Starwood with Randy. They were not quiet by the way!!
@@JPearlTV Yeah, I know how sensitive vocalists get when you say those 2 evil words! "Pitch correction"! It's a sin in the book of rock n roll! Old age crept in and crawled up the backs of all those dudes from the 80s, and they didn't take into account that they could not, squeal like a pig, night after night, for years and years and still keep your vocal chords. Now they gotta use "pitch corrector"
Glad to see Rudy back in the band only member left. Saw that first big tour when Mental Health went Number 1. Night Ranger was co headliner then Sister Christian broke and they left tour and we got Saga and Girls School. Saw them at Old Keil Oprea House in St. Louis. It snowed and when we went out side to go home we looked for the car but it got stolen and we had to stay the night with my buddies sister and slept in the floor. The next day cops called and said we caught the guys that stole it so we drove it home. What a night LOL.
I didn't even know that the Jizz-man was back in QR. I remember when he first joined and I questioned how he would fit in, but I was wrong...and I still am. They sound really good. I can understand if the die-hards pull the nostalgia card out and claim that it isn't the band of a bygone era, but this is pretty damned good.
Is Rudy Sarzo the one original member? Just asking because I didn't receive him and was about to ask I question that might not have went over well. However, I do consider myself highly Blessed and truly favored because after all God Gave Rock n Roll to You, Quiet Riot came to Amarillo on Kevin DuBro's birthday with Helix and either Saxon or Whitesnake. I can't remember much except it was one big party.
sarzo is actually not an orignal member he was recruited by RR when Kelly Garnis drinking got out of hand and he was let go. You're thinking of this almub version of Sarzo, Dubrow, Cavaso and Banali who was not an original member though he thought he was for some reason. ONLY Dubrow was the original, but he's gone now too.
Not bad, but without Kevin it's not the same for me. I was there when these guys broke out and they were great! For me no Kevin, no Frankie, it's not Quiet Riot, but this is a solid cover of the song.
Even though three quarters of the band is not original. They do sound good.Rudy is awesome.Full of energy. And I like the polka dot pick guard(a Randy tribute)very nice touch.
@@elinino5275 Yeah, I thought he was dead. My bad. I could have sworn I read about Carlos dying within the last few years. Either I remembered wrong, or I fell for those fake celebrity death notices. It's awesome knowing Carlos is still alive!

Jizzy Pearl from Love/Hate. They were a great band

It seems like a lot of folks have a Love/Hate relationship with Jizzy singing in Quiet Riot. I think he kills it!
People talking shit on the Internet…shocking isn’t it?
I see what you did there!..lol
Jizzy killed it! DuBrow has tough vocals to cop and he did well

still a good as in the day, i remember when this first cameout, it rocked

It's really sad that we need replacements, but these guys do a fantastic job
You know Quiet Riot functions without any of their original members.
Great band back in the day. I was fortunate to see the original band. What a great show.
Man! That was awesome! Rudy is kicking ass! All of them rocked, loved the guitar tone, though I don't see anything plugged into the Marshall's, lol.
There is only 1 original member left !! Rudy on bass

Yeah! I was there during that concert, they still kicks🤟
Live and Loud! I am impressed with Jizzy. great!
Either he's using a pitch corrector, or he is friggin killing it! That ain't no easy song to sing and he's nailing every note.
