- Feeling guilty about taking an anniversary trip to Disney World without our kids, we asked each of the characters we met to leave a video greeting for them. We pasted them all together in this montage.

This is the cutest thing ever!!!! How sweet of you! Jasmine was gorgeous! And I loved the last Fairy with the southern accent. So cute! I just love Disney!

Haha Peter Pan is funny. "I dunno how you're trapped in there, but I hope you can get out...not very nice, trapping you in there." And so is the Mad Hatter!
Agreed!! We go at least twice a year... once with kids and once without. That way, when we have the kids, they can lead the way. We don't have to slow them down for 'grown up' things, we just do those when we come by ourselves. Disney World is a GREAT place for adults! Love this idea, by the way! Great video!

youre the best parents ive ever seen. this video (as a 23 year old adult, and cast member of walt disney world for 6 years) made me tear up because it was so thoughtful. if i were a kid, this would be totally an over the top gift to give as a souveneir, and even make me more excited when it was my turn to go. great job, parents that made this video.
The Princesses and all the characters make you feel so special. Those few minutes they spend with you are just so magical.
Holy cow! Ok, I am completely obsessed with the Disney characters and let me just say that if your kids are anything like me, they probably LOVED this video! I know I sure did! If my friends or family members went to a Disney park and got a video of my favorite characters talking and waving at me, I would totally love it!

People should mind their own business and think before leaving such rude comments. I think it's very sweet that you took some time during your anniversary trip to make this video for your children. Disney is not just for kids! I am in my 20s and I want my honeymoon trip to be to disney! It truly is for all ages! :)

I miss them too. Luckily, most characters I've met take real time to interact with you and make you feel special, which makes the wait more bearable.

I used to work at Disney, and I have to say, October is the BEST time to go. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is amazing, and the villain's are actually some of the funnest characters to meet. :)

There are plenty of adults who visit Disney World without kids, and the characters are sweet to everyone (well, except the villains). The more fun you have with them, the more fun they'll have with you. The Disney cast knows that their parks are a source of magic for children of ALL ages.

We have taken them quite a few times -- both before and after this video was made. This trip was the one time my wife and I went by ourselves because it was our anniversary. Our kids haven't missed out on their share of Disney World, and they loved the video.
Mad Hatter was totally the best!! He was really in character!
Didn't you know that Tink is a Tinker in the Pixie realm, so I'm sure she was able to make some sort of doodad or something, to help us be able to understand what she's saying

As someone without kids (Yet!) I have to say that it is pretty awesome to mess around in the World as adults. :D

the mad hatter was amazingly in character, he is soo good at his job!! aladdin's voice was like perfect!! oh and rosetta was rlly good too!! i loved all the masked characters and i felt bad because all they can rlly do i wave and blow kisses :]

It's true. I go to Disneyland very often, and I have found that the characters tend to make more of an effort to act and talk to you. If you try to start a conversation with you, they will try to keep you entertained.
this was an awesome idea! I've done adult trips and with my kids trips too, my kids were fine as they knew that we'd be going back together . wish I'd of thought to do this, brilliant :-)

Lovely!! I'm taking a "grown-ups" only trip next month and will absolutely be doing this!! They get to go again in October, so I'll tweak it a bit, but the idea is fabulous! Hope they enjoyed it!

We have. Numerous times before and after. This was the one time my wife and I went by ourselves. It was our anniversary trip, but we still missed our kids.

I always loved to pick up the confetti, I actually still have some that I've kept all these years. I hope they still do it because it was very entertaining for me as a child, though of course they may have let it fall to the wayside like they have some of their princesses (Mulan for example)

Are people seriously call them horrible parents? They said they're kids have been there several times already and adults CAN go without kids, it's not like it was the kids only opportunity. It's sweet that they even thought of them enough to make this video. When I get married I wanna go to Disney once without my kids. Sheesh. Ignore the hate, these rude people don't know what they're even talking about. Cute video :)

We attended right AFTER Thanksgiving weekend (arriving on the Sunday following Thanksgiving). Thanksgiving weekend itself is one of the busiest times of the year, but the following week is comparatively empty.
We've also experienced very light crowds during September. The parks are light on guests then because kids are going back to school (and parents don't want to pull them out for a trip so soon) and most people have just finished their summer vacations.
Totally don't blame you for going without your kids. I have never been, and if I ever do I think I'd like a chance to enjoy it the way I want to! :) Cool video though.
In this particular scene, they were near the Sorcerer's Hat in the center of Disney's Hollywood Studios. We've also seen them a few times near the stage in the Tomorrowland section of Magic Kingdom (dressed as cyborg Chip and Dale). You can always find them in Epcot for character dining at The Garden Grill restaurant.

I like how the charactera at Disney World are so into their part. To be honest I think they do something to the people who work in the Disney Stores around the country too...those people like almost jump out the entrance when you walk by "HAAAAAIIIIIIIII, HOW ARE YOU TUH-DAY!?" *Giant creepy smile*

Best advice to find out where the characters are and at what times, you can ask for the information at City Hall, or at the information center where you can get maps of the park. IF that doesn't work you can probably ask a Cast Member if they would know the info, or help you find someone who would know
You'll have a wonderful time! February is a good month to visit, as the weather is cool and crowds are a little lighter.

@mckeelsy You can easily find the princesses if you know where to look. Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom or Akershus in Epcot is one way to see several of them. Though it's recently closed, there was a princess meet-and-greet in Mickey's Toontown Fair. It will reopen as "Princess Fairytale Hall" when the current Snow White ride closes. You can also find the princesses in their respective countries in Epcot.
He was in the Morocco section of Epcot. The character meet-and-greet area there is sometimes by the World Showcase Lagoon, but often it's in one of the rear buildings along the streets of Morocco.
