Beginner Course - If you’re a beginner surfer, I think it’s important to follow up after your first lesson, get in the water as much as possible, and basically, carry on learning. But if you don’t live near the ocean or can’t find the time, it can be tricky to do! Confidence is massive in surfing, and if you’re new to it, fear can stop you from progressing and surfing in the places you want to. Thankfully my friends over at HOS have developed a course that takes you through various breathing techniques and scientifically backed lessons on how to control your breathing and feel massively more confident in the water. While the Course might not turn you into Nathan Florence, it definitely gives you some super helpful information for feeling more confident in bigger surf.
