Well I feel like they should sell the black crystals separately than red because if someone really wanted to buy a red crystal but got a black one they might be bummed out.

MondoMotions1138 the crystals have a chip in them that the lightsaber/ holocron reads, both have pre programmed settings for what the chip in the lightsaber reads, red/ black, green, blue, purple, white and yellow have been programmed in, technically the orange and a lighter blue kyber crystal is programmed but the orange comes out as yellow and the teal blue comes out as normal blue, the light in the chassie will turn light blue or orange but that’s as far as they got with the orange crystal

Sith Enthusiast sooo agree. Very aggressive stance on serving justice. Because of Luke and his constructing the green and it’s purpose, can’t help to geek out on the thoughts he was determined to get his Dad back from the Emperor. But that’s my geek talkin’ 😉👍

My son and I went yesterday and did our build we both got power and control and I got red while he got violet (purple). After we went and bought all the other colors and I picked up the obi wan legacy saber and he picked out the temple guard one. We had a blast.
I didn't know there was a yellow kyber crystal so thank for making this video or I would not know about it and I would be sad and without a yellow lightsaber.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand but the next time I am able to go to Disneyland I will 100% be getting two Savi's Workshop Lightsabers and one Legacy Lightsaber, maybe two Legacy Lightsabers and six of the seven Kyber Crystals all but the black one I'll get the Red and the Blue at Savi's Workshop and then the Green, Yellow, Purple and White when I get my Legacy Saber/Sabers
White definitely has the best sound. I'd say the only downside, speaking as one who owns all the colors for my own Savi saber, is that White is the most visually boring. The unlit blade is already a white bar, and so the white crystal...makes the white even brighter. If it were a more silver-ish white that'd be cool, but oh well.
The ignition is the same, but at that time there were only rebels as a basis to make the ignition and it sounded more like Luke's ignition, I already think the purple crystal's ignition is completely wrong, they could remove the ignition from Mace Windu's saber.
i hear that if you swap the cheap batteries it comes with for fresh Li-Ion you can improve the sound, motion detection, and clash detection. but i have yet to see a comparison to be sure...
@@rickiesanchez2403 In my opinion, its pretty bad. The delay is noticeable, the clash sounds happen randomly while swinging, and the blade motion sounds generally happen after the swing has been completed. I'm not sure if it happens for all of Savi's lightsabers, but both my wife's and mine had the same issue.
I got a the strength and control saber since it was the most Sith like with the red crystal, then switched out the red for a white crystal since my Sith in SWTOR uses a white blade. Not crazy about the high whining sound but I like the white color.
be warned, the yellow crystal actually looks lime green in person. Do not waste your money if you hope to have the jedi sentinel look. Ask a cast member to show you what it looks like before you buy because they won’t let you return any crystals after trying it for yourself even if you try it in front of them.
yea i can confirm I got yellow first and it looked alot more lime greenish. Although i would say thats probably because the battery is low. Still, when i did replace it, it still had kind of a greenish hue.
they really should’ve done something with the black crystal besides just making it red should’ve added a pulse or static or something maybe even changed the color

Yeah the tech just aint there yet. Even the actual higher-end Darksaber replicas we got, whether Legacy or Hasbro, aren't quite there yet.
The background noise for the yellow one sounds cool

Was expecting the black to be cooler with all of the hype surrounding it.
Despite the Black Kyber crystal not making the light black, it still looks very sinister.

How does one get the white and yellow for the savi’s workshop?
They need to update the Dark Saber crystal to actually turn the blade black. Assuming they haven't done so already.
