Hearing Delta sing our anthem at the footy, I have never heard it sung better. I didn’t realise how beautiful her voice really was.and is. From a man who rolled his eyes every time my woman played this cd back in the late 90s, now her voice waters my eyes. it’s magical.
Quite possibly the greatest australian female piano & vocal track of my generation. It's such a theatrical classical show topping tune. Epic melodic delivery of a mystical story. Only other contender to compare to are "The Special Two" & "All For Believing" by Missy Higgins. If anybody reading this could recommend any other modern post 2000 Australian or international Female Piano & Vocal accompaniment please by all means be my guest

I listened to this when i had a ruptured brain aneurysm in may 2020 when i couldn't have family to see me when i was 32 and life changed this inspirational woman and this song helped me lots she also knows what its like to go through chronic illness ive always have and always be a fan xx
I remember when I was 6-7 years of age listening to this song in my mum's car. Now I'm 23 and I confess this makes me feel very nostalgic of a time where I was a young boy with an innocent outlook of the world. But now I am man with a more or less bitter sweet perspective on life. Though I still have a long way to go this song certainly remains me to enjoy my youth and innocence as long as I have it.
Ahhh rediscovered this tune! i loved the dramatic beat in this, found it so catchy. This was the best song to listen to and pretend I was main character in an anime when I was a kid and everyone else would be playing tag and I’d be in my own world, plugged into my Walkman and spinning around screeching thinking I could sing the high notes in the chorus! 🤣 I must have looked possessed 👀

This song was everything to me as a child! It’s incredibly odd hearing it now. I love the nostalgia and being reminded of childhood innocence.
