A dad that wants to be with the family on Father's day, what a blessing. It looked like you had the park all to yourselves, perfect weather and making forever memories. Little Freya looked tired but still was part of everything. What a joy to be home in your bed at night!
Loved seeing you and your beautiful family hanging out in nature. Being in nature is the most healing thing ever! I take my 78 years young mama out in nature as often as possible, she just beams!
Letting Freya explore is fantastic, as she, too needs to have fun. I loved her sitting in her big girl's chair and how her sisters brought her a buttercup flower. That was so super cute, and I know it's silly, but that moved me. Your family is amazing with such great kids and parented by a wonderful mum and dad. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I always cringe just a little when I see you explaining things that you really shouldn't have to, or when I read negative comments, or comments trying to tell you how to parent your medically complex child with special needs. You guys are obviously wonderful parents, your other children are cute, funny, well rounded, smart, loving, kind, amazing children. I am sorry that people in the past have made you feel the need to explain why your husband had a gun, or why Liam didn't have a hot dog. You guys are great parents, I love your vlogs, thanks for sharing your family with us, and for educating us on Cornelia De Lange.
It looks like you live in Gods country❤ Gorgeous. What a great way to spend Father’s Day weekend. Freya’s high ponytail is so cute. I’m a big fan of Sebastian, in fact that’s how I learned about your channel. I hope and pray that Sebastian is able to physically move around as well Freya does someday.
The scenery where live is STUNNING! Loved the couple of stiles you got... it's Freya siting on the blanket alone, the other Suki (sic) is lying in the grass...just beautiful!!! If you ever wondered about the hearts smiley emojis, they were to represent the kids but since it's father day I am going to throw in smileys and heart for the big folks in the family. ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Wow, that fresh mountain air is good for you! Looks like everyone had a good time. I'm with you Marci - not a fan of over night camping. I'm not into testing the bears or getting chewed up by mosquitoes. But it's also nice to get out of the house for a day! Thanks for taking us along!
I never liked camping either...I just can't fall asleep on the ground..it's so uncomfortable. My Grandson made me laugh a few years back: he went camping with the Scouts, and when he came home I asked him how he liked it. He said, "we just would walk around during the day, and eat boring meals in foil at night"....The way he said it really made me laugh 🙂
Hey there fellow Utahn! We're over in Washington so not too far from y'all. I had to pop in and say we are also huge fans of day camping even call it day camping ourselves. Back when my 8 year old was baby we went on a big family camp out. Oh man that was rough. I decided camping was out of the picture for us until my boys were older...thus day camping started. I've never heard of any one else doing this so I thought it was pretty neat when you mentioned it. We've been doing it for years! It really is the best of both worlds. My kiddos are older now and we love to sneak in a real camp trip when we can but we still day camp pretty often (it's my husband’s preferred way to camp). My favorite is hit up Duck Creek late August into September right before the parks shut down usually on a weekday or a Sunday when it's not as busy. So many good memories there. We pop into Pine Valley pretty often as well. Last year I went on a solo camp trip in Pine Valley with just myself and a huge stack of books.....heavenly. I also like to go solo camping with my boys when we can. What a great place we live in for all the camping adventures, just a day stop or full day of camping!
I love you popcorn popper! We are going camping in a few weeks and that looks like a perfect addition to our camping supplies. Looks like it was a beautiful day!
...she is so stinkin' cute coz she looks like her fam!❤ great video! I hafta laugh...I just turned to my husband and said "someone is going to ask Marci if she's punishing Liam by withholding food" and...lol
What a beautiful spot for „day camping“ and spending quality family time in nature together. I really love that you do that as a family. How many kids never get to experience that! I come from a very abusive and dysfunctional family, which kind of explains to me why I enjoy your family videos, but only in part. You‘re so fun and refreshing to watch because you respect each other and allow your kids to each develop in their own individual way. Thank you for taking us with you on this wonderful outing! And happy Father’s Day to Chris!
That looked like so much fun, Marci! I love the idea of day camping. That is a beautiful place that you went to. It has not warmed up much here in Maryland. It doesn’t feel like summer at all. Freya was having a ball with her sisters and brother! You have the nicest family, I love how everyone interacts together. Happy Father’s Day to Chris! Sending you all my love and hugs, God bless you all 🤗🙏🏼❤️
Bless you Chris with that big sneeze! My Geology girl Freya is loving her rocks too! Oh what fun day camping is! One question. How prevalent is the Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick in your area? They are known to carry Lyme disease. I am concerned because my then 20 yr old son spent ten years fighting Lyme. It was a terrible time. But we still love rocks!
We're getting the same temps here in the Boston area, Today it's 60 degrees and rain. It's normally 85+ in June. Saving on the central air/electricity at least! Kissing the food is so cute.
😂 he just broke them the other day and he is an eye appointment this week. He cannot see without them so this is how he has to get by for a week or so.
@@Freyasluckyarm I empathize. Bending and generally destroying glasses is a hobby of mine but I don't have the art of wearing them in that state! I'm glad he has an appointment soon
I’m with you Mama. I’ll take a cushy bed thank you. I’m a Hotel girl, my late Husband loved camping. He 5:36 and my Dad and Son would go. 🥴 Beautiful scenery and the air looks so clear. I love what you do to Freyas hair. Super sweet. I miss my Border Collie when I see your Dog. I’m alone now and getting old.😉Fresh popped corn tastes so much better than Micro in my opinion. I glad to spend te day with you. Love from, me 💕💋🙋🏼💗❤️
Oh this is awesome. We do not have mountains in the Netherlands. So i love, this kind of video's. We go sometimes to Germany, to experience a little bit of "mountains". Looks like you guys had a lot of fun 😊
In my experience living with a disabled child is changing. Most families I know try to figure out a way to do all the things they did before their disabled child. They find ways to include them
🤦🏼♀️ we were just saying that this pair had lasted a whole year and he broke them while jumping on the trampoline. Luckily his eye appointment is this week and we will get a new prescription
That’s some beautiful scenery. Great day out, and fun was had by all. The fireside popcorn maker was pretty cool. I have never seen one of those before. Did Freya get to try a taste of marshmallow?
What a fun peaceful day with the family! 🙏🏽I will be taking a page from your book! Also, I had a question - when Freya moves her arms in that fast repetitive motion, is that also a sensory thing like spinning? Keeping her aware of where she is in space?
Thinking about Freya's hearing - I noticed that she turned her head to the side when she was playing with the rocks, as though to hear the sound a bit better. Is that something that she does often?
You need to bring wiffle ball, bad mitten, kickball, something. The kids are so well behaved, as they always are but they looked bored. Make a bingo card for each child with things to find like, bird feather, pine needle, white rock etc.
@@Freyasluckyarm Because when we lost power I tried to cook stuff in the fireplace and it all came out like smoky like nasty I didn’t have a good taste maybe that’s cause it was inside my fireplace we had no power for a week I was trying to cook turned out like the taste was awful
Hi Marci, my name is Christopher but please feel free to call me Chris. I have a disability myself called autism. Now, since you hate sleeping in tents, then might I suggest sleeping in a camper trailer or RV next time y’all go camping. Yes! I think it is. She tended to do it when excited as a baby but now I see her doing it more often especially when she is crawling around.
