- On Deathwish episode 2 the guys are back in the shop with yet another last minute build. Hear the story of the Death Wish Hilux build that you have seen all over the internet before this rat rod goes back under the knife. This time its to yank out the tired old 4.8 LS in favor of a 6.0 LS packed with Tick Performance cam, Brian Tooley Racing goodies, and Holley High Ram Intake. Oh and did we mention we only have 4 days to do it so they can make it to LS Fest East in Bowling Green, Kentucky? On top of all that we will also be throwing an extra turbo on there because whats better than a one turbo? That's right Twin Turbos! Will Josh Mazerolle, Fat Erik and the crew be able to pull off this Toyota Hilux rat rod engine swap in time? You'll have to stay tuned to find out!

I won’t be able to drive anything again for a while because of my epilepsy. But luckily their planning surgery so I might be able to in a few years. But if I could I would make this my immediate choice. I’d want to build it lol. I live right in Maine too so hook me up with any Toyotas? I really am dying for a whole build video! Like A to B I’m no crazy mechanic. But if it came to it I could build something.

with all due respect.. and I mean, all. Due. Respect ricky bobby... when your main goal and baseline for success, is for the turbo to spin at idle, we have a slight difference in opinion on the definition of “works”. BUT, seems to work well enough. Well done nonetheless gents 👍🏼
That's sic, I want to swap the 5.7 out of my 91 obs extended cab and drop in an LS3 with a turbo. It'd be nice to get an engine trans combo to drop in. Too bad you guys are in Washington

Man it's like a retired senior most the work thats done seem's normal, Who cares as long as it work's, Hell all the distance traveled its almost like a rally truck. The next best thing like skateboard culture would be a pizza beer and 69 how ever that truck would come before all that as it's culture on wheels and a story to boot.

Good question. It takes a ton of time, we had to find the right story, etc. It won't be long before EP3 is out though as it is already shot and in the editing process.

Cool story but I have a feeling this is a staged story. To be able to go from just getting by and asking for help from strangers in your first videos to having cnc machines, and other expensive items.

I noticed your thumbnail said LSX I don't want to sound like a butthole but that's not a LSX it's just a LS truck engine which is really good. LSX engines was never put in any production vehicles so people who don't know much about LS engines they always say they have a LSX when it's a truck block or a Camaro block. so if any viewers reads this post and you have a LS based engine please stop saying you have a LSX I'm just a firm believer in sharing knowledge and not stupidity again not talking bad about you or your video.
