      Reagan opened trade with China.
Then every president started continuing tax incentives to take Bisbee there, but its mainly the slave labor.
That's why both Bush and Obama ran on bringing jobs back.
Obama even said at the end of his term, after fucking everything up even more, that you'd need a magic wand to bring everything back.
Enter Trump, shows that was B.S., the establishment didn't like that, so they crucified him.

Absolutely. At my dealership we’re constantly having to push jobs out farther than expected due to parts. We’re consistently getting damaged parts as well, straight from our stock warehouses all over the country. Pure example, I ordered 12 oil filters for my truck. I like a specialty filter that is considerably more expensive but higher quality than the standard line of oil filters. It was in Memphis, and it took 4 weeks to ship to my dealership 🤦🏼‍♂️

I had a good experience on one site for a filter for the familys VW. Getting some MANN filters which are some good stuff, instead of the other crap (which goes up to like 20 dollars per basic filter...). Had 6 shipped in like 3 days (I'm in Canada, and normally parts are slow as balls). Also got a free magazine so. I've also had parts take 2 weeks on the regular. Sometimes i have to call all 4 5 parts stores locally.

I run a shop in Eagles Landing, ( GA ) called Eagles Landing Auto Spa. We primarily use Oreilly's, and your correct. It seems every single part, from rotors to radiators.. everything.. is "At the Warehouse" or has to be shipped in a couple day's time to arrive at the shop. We are feeling the pain of it as well! We have been using RockAuto alot more

Yep 👍 definitely. Heck it’s hard to even get oil filters anymore. We had to wait 4 hours for one to be brought from the next town. Everyone at my shop is hating it. Also had to wait about 1 month for a set of head gaskets talk about an unhappy customer because it was their only vehicle. I’m a dealer mechanic and sometimes the customers get irate because they come in to get an OEM part and we offer to order it but they don’t want to wait. At least my dealership is hourly so that is an advantage at times like this.

Up next: fuel shortage, power shortage, food shortage, and water shortage.
If you have kids now, you are nothing more than a murderer. As we all know there is absolutely no future for those kids.

I've been waiting about 2 weeks for oem fuel injectors for a 16 Tahoe. Parts on national back order with no ETA.

The backlog at the ports in California and having a couple of ships that have sank carrying parts out of Japan have definitely made it hard not just for car parts but for everything.

Getting parts sucks here too, but that's mostly because our parts guy sucks.

Then those people can't or it's harder for them to get to work, or work ect and on and on. Constant backlog.

Totally agree and that's in Australia as well. I,m an exhaust guy and even 10mm mushroom headed steel rods to make mounts from , took 3 weeks to become available...1 1/4" tubing for little motors....6 weeks back order finally came...rubber mounts...forget the 10 packs but you CAN get individually plastic packed units at 3 times the price. Getting real inventive using wrong shaped universal muffler barrels to make assemblies and yet still upholding quality .This madness has to end.

I’m an Ag mechanic and I’ve been going through the same thing, it’s gotten worse in just the last 4 months.
