Nice upload of this legendary artist and recording. I met Miss Jean at a country music fair about 6 years ago and I said to her you didn't sing my favorite song. She said which one is that honey....I said Poor Sweet Baby. She broke into singing it and I sang it with her. She was such a nice lady.
This is one six of her albums I've had from the early seventies . I've not played them for years untill I purchased a tablet twelve months ago and found so many of hers on TH-cam thanks f
I cannot believe I’ve missed this record as much as I listen to Jean Shepard songs.This is the best album ever. There were two songs that were new to me, I mean hearing her singing them. I’m so glad we got to see her perform on the Opry a few years before she passed away. Thank you for sharing this.
Probably her most outstanding UA album! I’m grateful to have known Jean throughout the years! There was jean Shepard Wanda Jackson Rose Maddox and Kitty Wells prior to Patsy Loretta Tammy and the even later newcomers! Connie Smith is the only other super mouth! Thanks much !!!

Time really flies, hard to believe it is almost 4yrs since she passed, RIP Jean you are so missed and loved to this day!!!
