I loved the Atalia inks simply because it was so pretty seeing the difference the colors were affected when sprayed with water how they blend great video as always
Well, I could pick out your color choices on the blends in a minute. You love those pretty, brights every time...as do I. I will stick with the distress oxides but going to fill out with some colors I do not have. Spent most of the day on flip cards, but now want to make sheets of blends to use on cards. Maybe tomorrow! I try to get all cooking, chores down so I can play the rest of the day. I love your tutorials. I watch many others, and many like Laura and Jennifer are always fantastic, too, but I love your ideas so much! We all need inspiration during these times. Getting ready send out another set of “happy” cards to people in my community.
Thank you so much Kathy! I really appreciate you hanging out with me and always lending your support and kind words. :) LOL, you know my bright rainbow love well! :) I agree, I love my Oxides, but it's nice to add a few super brights that the Oxide line doesn't have! I mega cleaned the house Friday night so I could craft all weekend because I have lots of deadlines! Thanks for the reminder to actually send those cards! It's been a while since I sent a batch out and I am missing friends and family these days so it's about time to send more out!
The Atelier inks were my favs because I don't much care for the white splotches left by water on the Distress Oxides and Hero Hues. I much prefer the faded spots of Atelier and even the Versa. Since all I have are Distressed Inks, I guess it's time to invest in a few others. Thank you for the comparison or I probably would never have known.
Thanks so much for watching! The Atelier inks are definitely a more vibrant collection too. I love the new colors they just released! Thankfully I have a few open spots in my ink pad storage lol!
Distress Oxides have always been my personal faves too :) But always nice to try other things out there especially since they have different colors available. Thanks for spending time with me! Have a great, crafty weekend!
I am just starting cardmaking as a hobby. I am impressed with Hero Hues and VersaColor, although for different reasons. VersaColor seems to be a real good ink for heat embossing. I was considering Distress Oxide. I am not too impressed with Atelier Ink on 3, just too much texture for me. I might consider it later as I progress in cardmaking.
Yay for starting cardmaking! I agree, VersaColor would be great for embossing. Hero has some really fun bright colors which are different than any of the Oxides. I've used the Atelier's over a stencil and they were amazing, but for a straight up blend I still think Oxides are the smoothest. I've also seen people do some great watercolor techniques with the Atelier's. I love them all for different reasons! As far as adding to my collection lol, I will continue to buy all the new Oxides (except browns, I dont think I need anymore of those) and I would like to add some Hero Reactives such as a pink and orange!
Really good question! I currently use Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink, but I have been thinking about comparing it to a couple of others and see what works best!
With my recent white gel pen video I did choose a total winner lol, but with these inks and how everyone blends differently I couldn't call it in favor of one or the other. But since I use them for so many different techniques and have all the available colors the Distress Oxides are pretty high on the list for me :)

Distress Oxides are awesome! I have a video where I share why I love them here: th-cam.com/video/8mC8vIqkimA/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for reviewing our ink!! Great video!!
Love those creamy, bright colors!
I have most of the distress oxides so I’m sticking with them but it was interesting to see the pigment inkblend
Same! I am adding a few of the others in mainly because I love the super bright colors!
I have oxides and hero hues and love them!! It was nice to see how other inks work also. Thanks for sharing!!
I was so happy to have tried the Hero Hues Reactive Inks! I think I need a few more ;) I love their bright colors. Thanks for spending time with me!
Great video Rebecca! I've only used Distress Oxides for blending, but it's great to see other inks that will work. Thanks for sharing!

Do you have a favorite white ink pad?
Really good question! I currently use Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink, but I have been thinking about comparing it to a couple of others and see what works best!
Darn. I was hoping one would be the total winner. So, I guess I'll not be devoted to just one brand. ;)

The texture is because of your paper. You won’t have that texture with Neenah
Well, the texture didn't show up with the Oxides so I am not sure that's the case. Plus the Bristol Smooth is meant to be super smooth.
