Looks pretty good man. I really thought when you said it had a good note but hadn't started the bike that you were not going to let us have a sound check of the new pipe. You got me on that one. Sounds great and is definitely much lighter than factory. Can't wait to see how it sounds under load.
Bit of a teaser. I did take some footage of the bike running with the new pipe but had the camera microphone too close causing sound distortion. Saved the best bit til the end. Thanks 😊
Good video and details instructions Dodger.. thanks for the upload The exhaust sounds really good. fairly easy to install as well. It was abit fiddly when I installed the delkevic system on my vstrom. You will definitely enjoy the bike more now .
@@DodgerMohr This is the first time that your choice in slip on mufflers has got my interest. Most are as high quality as the Delkevic and they are just too loud. That means back pressure is reduced and that means air/fuel ratio is most likely affected. Engine air/fuel and back pressure could mess with the output power and even the valves and piston temperature, etc... I'll research more on the Delkevic. Thanks for your video and comment.
Hello. I don’t want to sound ignorant, but I have a 2019 300X that I really enjoy. I’m curious why people decide to change the exhaust. Is it a performance thing, or just to make the bike louder?
I changed my exhaust mainly for the sound. I noticed whilst motovlogging I was experiencing a lot of wind noise so I tried to eliminate it my motorcycle noise. Still experiencing some wind noise but not as bad as the original exhaust. Added bonus slight increase in power.
Yeah the bike was originally bought for the wife. She is now booked in for her learners on the 28/2/22 & hopefully 🙏 gets it. Will start her on the daughter’s Yamaha XT250 eventually take over the Versys once she gains Road experience. Still have the original pipe, can always replace the slip on if she is not happy with it. Thanks

Hope you are watching the supercross tomorrow round 3.
All the best.
Yeah. Took it out for a quick spin & noticed it was a bit more responsive. Cheers
nice tone! I hear people are having trouble with check engine lights after slip on installs. Any input?
No issues. Runs great 👍
Do they make more power over a stock pipe or it just sounds like they do? Serious question....... I'm getting a V300 in a few days.
Yeah you do get a little extra power. They are very loud around town which is great, however a bit too noisy when touring.
@@DodgerMohr thankyou. I am an oldie; think I'll go for quiet. 🤣
Zoom Zoom. Are you liking the sound the Delkevic is making?
Yeah. Can be a bit loud on long trips but around traffic GREAT.

On this video I used my iPhone with an external microphone. On my rides I use GoPro & Insta360.

Isn't this your wife's bike? 🤔 does she know what stuff you're putting on it? And when is she getting her license?
