I feel that Moffat wrote the best representation of the TARDIS and The Doctor during Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor’s era. It felt more than a ship, but a home and a living being.
I agree with that. You felt like the Doctor and the TARDIS were more a duo, bonding to each other like partners, true companions, rather than a captain and his ship.
@@TreyMcDonaldAnimator And then it went to being a ship when 12 took over and the interior was like an updated version of The Classic Doctors.
And then along came Chris Chibnall and we all know what happened next…
@@CricketEnglandhe murdered a TARDIS as a way to resolve a plot point 😢
@@CricketEnglandThe show became brilliant, yes.
I definitely thank Moffat.for hammering it home that the TARDIS is more than just a veasel who can go anywhere in time and space. TARDIS is definitely a companion through and through, being the intuition the Doctor needs sometimes. Dare I say... The TARDIS is one of my favorite characters of all time, not just in Who.
I miss seeing the TARDIS being explored. The Zero Room. Tegan and Nyssa's bedroom. The Secondary Console Room... Glorious!
The fact that the TARDIS is scentient, but also not, is still wonderous to me
She's just on her mind, but she's always alive and sentient, don't forget this
Sentient. And the Tardis has been described as being at least semi sentient but a different kind of life to anything that we or the time lords even know. She was created to be a machine after all.
@@danivariusor the doctor
Wondrous.
Where are moments from 'Doctor's Wife'? That was the most beautiful episode ever, we need human TARDIS cameo, please
Of course the Tardis is alive and very sassy with all those beeps and sounds when The Doctor tries to go somewhere. But she takes him where he needs to help.
14:40 love the Dr’s theme they used for Matt smith
The Doctor and the TARDIS, next stop... Everywhere. Brilliant.
1:08 "your majesty, a second TARDIS has hit big ben"
New Tardis interior reveal soon, bet
That’s what I first thought when I saw this video 👀
I’m surprised that there are ZERO scenes in this video of Idris aka The TARDIS from The Doctor’s Wife from the 11th Doctor’s era!
Idris was offered the role of Dr. Who and HE turned it down!
@@pfranks75 What does this have to do with my comment?
@@pfranks75The OP is talking about the character Idris, the embodiment of the TARDIS played by Suranne Jones, different to the actor Idris Elba.
I keep seeing Moffat being thanked but so you all know. It wasn't Moffat who wrote The Doctor's Wife, but Neil Gaiman. AKA Good Omens and Coraline creator.
Best show ever
@@user-qe1lk4pq8tLet's be optimistic for the future of Doctor Who
@@user-qe1lk4pq8tyea but can only get better now Chibnall’s gone
@@user-qe1lk4pq8tIt never stopped.
@@CricketEnglandNope. It never stopped being fantastic/excellent/brilliant.
(I wish I could’ve included some of the other Doctors’ catchphrases, but those are the only ones that are adjectives.)
@@DrWhoFanJchibnall ruined doctor who, stop the cope
EXCELLENT SHOW. EXCELLENT SCENE AT THE END.!!!
Love all the Doctor Who show series and Doctors. Not to mention the assistants...👍
I really liked Dan. Him and Graham were the best parts of the Chibnal era
Well their wasn’t much
@@CricketEnglandWhose wasn’t much what? 🤷♂️
@@DrWhoFanJ to like, is what I'm assuming they mean
@@mcyeddi I already know it’s what they mean (they’ve been plaguing comments sections on any DW-related videos for years now); I was trying a technique this time of making a point of their poor grasp of the language.
Same. Wished we had Dan and Yaz all the time for 13. Flux (+specials) was so promising
Tardis reveal next for series 14
Question for everyone if you had a Tardis were would you go and why?
My exes house
At 3.30am
I, personally, would not just visit, but actually like to spend *years* between 2001 and approx. 2012, as this were the most crucial years I grew up in and don't have full memories of that time
The far future to give myself the power to regenerate

Back to Tudor England
So the 9th doctor has Audio dramas being done and they're lovely. However, since he both began and ended his life with Rose its hard to place where exactly they take place in the 9th doctor's timeline.
The best place I can think of it all happening is when he takes off at 22:43 and then ALL his audio stuff happens, unless theres some stuff done with Rose in audio, then he comes back at 23:15 after it all cuz he finally wants a companion and remembers Rose and that he never told her it travels in time as well.
Well he is seen to be newly regenerated in Rose but really he could've been travelling for a while before then, he just didn't see his face because he refused to look in a mirror. So he could travel inbetween then but before too.
We see pictures of the ninth alone in the past in the first episode “Rose”
@@joedelingus5652 true, but Ive listened to a few of them and I'm pretty sure he's made mention of his appearance in them.
Plus I can't imagine the doctor not checking himself out post regeneration.. he does pretty much every time
@@InsightfulUndercurrents true, but that could just be because of time travel. Those things popped up during his travel between him leaving then going back to Rose and since wibbly wobbly.. ya know.
Love rose tyler my favourite companions ever
Come on, stop teasing and give us a glimpse of the new interior!
I still think the best since 2005 was ‘Amy’s’. The gold and bronze cave with a glass floor under the rotor.
You know, the one you don’t show here!!!
It’s gonna be the same as it was when DT was last the Dr
@@CricketEngland I'm not ruling that out, but I doubt it.
There might be a lot of repetition, but we have a new costume, new screwdriver and a new budget.
MODERN ART
hope we get a reveal of the new one soon
Don't worry, apparently the new episodes are coming out in November so only 3 months left to wait.
hehehe excitement is changing his biochemistry 😁
Second Doctor :what did he called me?
Doctor who ❤
Yep I Love This When I was a Kid
Some times doctor who is hilarious
I definitely still like the rtd TARDIS it holds up well and has a great design, but now that I've seen the 11th and 12th doctors TARDIS I would probably put the rtd one at the bottom
OMG JUST REVEAL THE NEW INTERIOR, YOU'VE BEEN HINTING AT IT FOR LIKE TWO WEEKS!!!!
But most of all the TARDIS is The Doctor's one and only best friend!
Interior reveal soon you just know it 😂
I used to make Doctor Who fan vids... one of the most viewed was called "Bigger on the inside", so - you can guess its content - nearly every time someone utters those words, plus a bunch of other TARDIS reactions, spliced together into a fast paced 4.30min video.
This video just seems incredibly lazy, BBC. "The Doctor and the TARDIS" ! What an amazing title, and what visions it evokes from almost 60 years of amazing adventures. And what do we get? 24 minutes of content, consisting of simply great big slabs of footage banged together, in what would take any average editor a couple of minutes. Where's the love? And - only one classic WHO scene? Sorry if there's more hidden in there somewhere - after starting watching, I didn't feel like spending 24 minutes watching this, so scrolled through only.
Where's the scene with Tom being upset about his TARDIS getting a hole in it? The Doctor and Jamie introducing Victoria to the TARDIS. 3 with the TARDIS console in his laboratory. C'mon... Please... stop insulting us.
I have a question out of all the TARDIS Interiors which one is your favourite my favourite will always be The 9th and 10th Doctor's Tardis interior
Mine is 12th Doctor's, with the Yellow lighting it looks so warm.
It's also one of the only one showing that the TARDIS is a ship.
Plus... THE LIGHTS!
Second for me is 9th and 10th Doctor's Tardis was so damn cool too. There are random bits of old things on the console, the coral pillars. That green glow in series one and just the feeling that it's more than just a machine.
And don't get me started on the 11th, I cannot put this below 9 and 10, so it shares the same second place.
The magical feeling of it, the diagonal entrance signifying Bigger on the Inside even more.
The more refined console featires than the coral's.
Man I love all of them.
Same here!
Has to be the original TARDIS back in the day when Pertwee and the like were the Dr after all they never needed so much room
@@CricketEnglandFrom the modern era I like Twelves but otherwise concur, any TARDIS with 'the round things' are iconic.
Fourths alternative console
i hope the new inside of the T.A.R.D.i.S Will be announced soon
Doccy who what are you teasing? 🤨
tardis Is so sentimental, appart from the description in this video
That scene from The Fires of Pompeii wasn’t The Doctor. Peter Capaldi was playing a different character.
Idk maybe it was the 12th doctor trolling 10

Back to 1996 to Re-claim my Long Lost Partner and Go Anywhere in the Universe we Wanted
hi
6:47 I'm sorry what was the point of 13 getting the Fob Watch and then throwing it away in the tardis she spent all that time looking for information about her past lives & the division she could've literally open it and she would have all her memories restored but instead she throw them away deep within the TARDIS man why did she bother in the first place on looking for the information about the division if she wanted to know like what was the point 🤔
Well you can blame Chibnall for that
I think she's learnt that whoever she was back then, it doesn't define who she is right now.
💕🔷️
First ❤ love from across the pond

Too many teases for the new tardis, just show us
If you’re watching this video you’re probably going to watch the Other video they made of about the Tardis.
Which one?
#makeadalekcomedy
There already is one. It’s called _The Chase_ (1965).
@@DrWhoFanJ yeah, but i want a spin-off. it sounds far-fetched but it’d be perfect.
But why does it start from 11? Why not just start from the beginning and go thru?
Y'know, re-watching the scene in ancient Rome (it's Pomei or Vesuvius or w/e--I'm old and not gonna look the episode up. The OG Capaldi appearance.), it's funny.
Since I'm a dirty Yank, I take it for granted under the terms of Suspension of Disbelief that people with "American accents" **cough** no accent unless from cousin-fucker/flyover state **cough** can portray historical figures who're clearly not speaking English in-universe, and it's totally cool. But some limeys being in the same position? Marring said Suspension with their funny way of speaking the language they invented? Nah, Dawg.
That shit is a hat on a hat. I can't take in #Tea&Crumpets&'Ee'sTitsUpDownThePubInAhJumpah along with portrayed-Roman: "The gods are always watching." Ofc, I see the irony as Britain is temporally closer to Rome than Burger'murica. It's just funny.
I’m sorry but Americans definitely have accents, the only reason you don't think you do is because you grow up surrounded by them
Wow BBC THANKS ON YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT FOR RUING THE EXACT TIME THINGS HAPPEN IN A EPISODE . WHOEVER RUNS IT COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO REMOVE THE TIME STAMP ON EACH PHOTO.
Nothing and no one will ever get any better than David Tennant, who is the 10th Doctor, Meta-Crisis 10th Doctor and 14th Doctor!!!
David Tennant is forever the BEST!!!
Both 10th Doctor, Meta-Crisis 10th Doctor and 14th Doctor are like fire🔥and ice❄️and rage😡. They’re like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. They’re ancient and forever. They burn at centre of time and they can see the turn of the universe. And they’re wonderful.
I really hope for, and love to see 10th Doctor, Meta-Crisis 10th Doctor and 14th Doctor meet each other!
I hope for, and love to see Meta-Crisis 10th Doctor and Rose Tyler spin-off TV series, and see them in titan comics!!!!
Allons-y!
Whitaker click-bait.
How she embarrasses herself in this league.
No clickbait. You are the only ones embarrassing yourselves.
The biggest mistake they made was turning "The Doctor" into an airheaded female!
They lost 70-80% of their Fan base!
Quite right

@@FreeTheDonbasCapaldi was better and his story’s were better than what Chibnall wrote
@@FreeTheDonbas Chibnall was still the worst thing to ever happen to Dr who after the BBC cutting the show after.McCoy
Weird how they did no such thing in the real world. The Doctor was confirmed gender-neutral back in 1972 (and species-neutral in 1996), so it came as no surprise to actually-intelligent human beings when the former of those two states became more explicit in 2017.
There were so many other better clips that could have been used or at least added. Give the TV movie Tardis the love it deserves 🥲
I think there’s some licensing issues with fox in regards to the movie. For instance, Big Finish haven’t been allowed to use photos of 7 and 8 in their movies outfits on cover art in recent years, so they’ve been photo-shopping their own.
Yea blame the Yanks for that
