I love the Cotswolds! I've not had a bad dram from them. I visited the distillery before they expanded and I could really tell it's a product of passion and they're true enthusiasts. It does reflect on the malt quality. Cheers 🥃
Cotswolds is the dogs! Got 3 x basic release @ £30 a bottle from Waitr.... recently. Nice review on the sherry so might keep a look out for that. Cheers
Congrats on 200. I enjoyed dramming along with you on this, with a bottle opened about the same time. Young, but I’ve been very pleased with this, my introduction to English Single Malt.
Congratulations on hitting the 200 reviews milestone. I'm about halfway down the Cotswolds Hearts & Crafts Batch 01/2022 bottling ABV 55.6%. It's matured in French Oak ex red wine casks seasoned with Caribbean rum.....it's a stunner!! I'm a big fan of Cotswolds Distillery, they're doing everything right and have an impressive range of spirits. The Cotswolds Dry Gin is excellent too and it's unchillfiltered!! I've still got an unopened bottle of the Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky Inaugural Release too. I can't wait until my brothers cask of Cotswolds Whisky matures because I don't know what he's going to do with about 200 litres of whisky all by himself. We've been trying samples of it every year and the change over the last 5 years or so is remarkable. The 3rd years sample was really harsh compared to every other year. Very interesting. Cheers!!
Congrats on the 200. Have you visit the Lakes Distillery? Would love to hear your thoughts on their whisky. Last time I was in the lake district i tried some and showing some real promise. Plus they're northern. Lake District > Cotswolds :)
This and their standard release are my favourites. £30 when on offer for the standard release is an absolute steal. One of my go to’s on a regular basis. Paying double for the sherry cask is a push but it is a lovely dram.
I'm picking up one of these very soon. I was so impressed with the Founder's reserve that I couldn't help myself! I would love to see Cotswolds put age statements on their bottles though. It would be a very honest, bold, and decent thing to do.
Congratulations on the 200th. We visited the Cotswolds distillery in September 2020...excellent. Their main cask storage is in ex-rum warehouses in Liverpool. Did you ever go back to that sulphury Kilkerran 8?
Great review mate - must try some Cotswolds - sounds like an excellent distillery! No need to change t'accent lad! As a Lancastrian I love goin' to Booths too! Especially the one in Lytham.
Hi Andy. Like your conversation style and your technical knowledge! I’m Putting the Cotswolds whisky & their distillery tour on my to do list! Thanks for sharing! Love the log burner stove fan! Slàinte! Tony 🥃🙌🏻😃
No need to make excuses for your accent; Lancashire and proud of it 😃👍. As for the Cotswold sherry cask - it sounds like a stonking dram. I have experienced the standard signature but alas found it a tad youthful and nothing stood out for me. Ne'er mind, perhaps I'll try again 😁.

Andy, If you're boring because you make videos about whisky what does that say about us🤔. Congrat's on 2-0-0.

Went last year and loved it, will definitely be getting a few more in the future 👍
Andy, can you please do a review with your full broad accent.
Go full Bolton. I'd love to hear Paddy McGuinness give whisky reviews.
