Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is my favourite cozy game. When I want to relax I often play through those games. I can either play the mini games for an extra challenge or just play though the main story and just chill and experience the beautiful worlds. I’ve played a lot of platforming games over the years but none of them have the charm and fantasy elements like Spyro. Plus, I love playing as a dragon

You should do a podcast! Also, thanks for the recommendations.
I'm playing Fire Emblem Three Houses right now and it feels kind of cozy honestly in a way. The music and presentation as you walk around the school talking to people is hogwarts like, the story progresses like a storybook/novel, its a strategy rpg so it has a board game feel. It takes a while to get used too but all the aspects i mentioned make it a surprisingly cozy game.
right now I’m playing a demo for a game called When the Past Was Around which is a neat puzzle game and it’s pretty cozy ngl. i also think Gone Home is pretty cool which is also a puzzle game and honestly kinda spooky.
I love the cozy vibes! I’m definitely going to purchase Yoshi’s Crafted World. It reminds me of the Yoshi games I played on my DS lite way, way back 🥰😂
sky: children of the light (an app adventure game) definitely belongs on this list when it comes out for the switch this year ! everything about it is breathtaking 💌

the last campfire is one of my favorite cozy games (aside from ACNH and BOTW)!! It’s got the sweetest most somber storyline and the graphics and soundtrack is stunning. It’s also puzzle based so it gets your mind going and you get super into it
We have played "cozy" games or seasonal games most of our lives! As kids growing up, my sister and I loved playing laid back games and I think this is the reason we have started way more RPGs than we will ever finish. We love the feel that most RPGs or simulation games give off in the beginning before the grind or before the story gets too complex. This is also how we judge if a RPG is worth completing. If we push through the grind or don't want to move on to a new game, we know it's a gem 💎! Playing games with holiday or seasonal vibes during those times is another thing we still do to this day. Nice mention of Yoshi games because SMW2 Yoshis island is one of our favorite games of all time! The other games in the yoshi series are more relaxing though. Roller coaster Tycoon 1&2, Harvest moon, Stardew valley, animal crossing, Golf Story on switch, Pikmin (has the vibes but can also be stressful) and maybe then most relaxing games are some of the retro point and click games for pc, that could be a list in itself‼️ love this topic and great video 😎
Same here on starting more games than I finish! If the game or story doesn’t “click” with me pretty quickly I unfortunately end up moving on from it and on to the next one haha. It can be a problem - but I’ve heard great things about Golf Story and Pikmin I will have to try them very soon 🙌🏼 thanks for watching as always Joey!
Definitely try out cloud punk, its a really cool and aesthetic game and very cyberpunk themed , its very open world and you play as a character who joins a delivery service! Also I really love your videos, you have such a soothing voice and its so nice to see more female content creators 💕
I loved playing A Short Hike! It’s beautiful and so relaxing, with really sweet characters. It’s not a lengthy game but it was one of my favourites last year! And the ending is so satisfying and pretty ✨
@@juliaadkins8785 Haven Park is super cute and has very similar vibes (without the flying mechanic though), and Time on Frog Island (which just came out) is also about quietly exploring a sweet little island!
Love your recommendations, it's so nice having a female gamer on here that does a lot of nintendo content ❤️ I'm happy that there are now more games out there with female gamers in mind and I really like that the switch have a good amount of otome games and other girlie games :)
A game that I highly recommend is Coffee Talk!! It has amazing Lofi music in the background and you get to follow the story of these people coming into your coffee shop!
I find it funny like Imagine bring cozy in your bed playing botw. Exploring the world and doing puzzles and then BOOM you jump out of bed and stressed out because a lynal and hinox shows up 😂 also I loved the intro this video it was a whole vibe
TH-cam randomly recommended this to me and i'm glad it did! Loved the vibes of the video, you seem really sweet. Staying around for more :) One cozy game I absolutely adore is Unravel two. It's such a sweet little game with beautiful music, generally easy gameplay but has some puzzles in it too. If you haven't checked it out yet, you really should, i think the game is constantly on sale too :D
I loved to game on my nintendo ds as a kid and I never got that immersive experience again with PC gaming. I'm really thinking about buying the Switch because of that handheld feeling. Your explanation of why you prefer playing stardew on the switch vs pc made so much sense to me! I'll be here for part 2!
When she put untitled goose game i went :o. I was playing that game the other day and I was laughing so hard. Great video btw I've been loving your content recently.
I'm obsessed with you now haha this is way too cute! I've loved cozy type games forever, but always felt too self conscious to be part of a gaming community because I don't enjoy platform games and overall hard games, but you make me feel like there is a place for me to explore this part of me. Thanks for sharing ❤️✨
this video was made for me. i'm very much a casual gamer in a house-full of hardcore ones. i love games that allow me to take a moment & relax, so thank you for this.
A Short Hike is a FANTASTIC cozy game!! If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend. The initial play through is only around 2 hours, but there’s so much to discover after the fact. It’s super cute and charming!
I just got a switch today and also discovered ur channel today so thank you sm! Also idk if this is a cozy game bc it gets a bit intense sometimes lol but super Mario galaxy is a great one. The music and the graphic are just so amazing and the story is so emotional. It might just be bc I grew up with it, but I LOVE that game
I was just thinking how I need to play other games than ACNH lol and here TH-cam comes recommending your video! The algorithm did not fail me for once lol, definitely will be looking into your recommendations and all the other recs in the comment section! BOTW and Coffee Talk sounds amazing!! Thank you for this, I would love to see you do a series on more cozy games:)
@@valeriasoto9576 yeah I love Stardew Valley. I was waiting to replay it until the new update came out because it added so much, but the game was awesome years ago too.
Hi. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for introducing me to one of the best gaming experiences of my life. I watched this video about a week ago looking for some relaxing games and Spiritfarer was the one that appealed to me the most. I’ve been playing it for hours every day since and I just finished it. It has now joined Breath of the Wild as my favourite game of all time. So thank you for making this video :)
My coziest game by far is A Short Hike! You can finish it in just a couple hours, but it’s a super chill and beautiful experience. You play as a little penguin and just have to get to the top of a mountain. Gorgeous music, great art, not too difficult, and quick. I’ve replayed it a couple times when I was just super super stressed and needed to decompress. Highly recommend!
Thank you for the list! I try to alternate between my cozy game, Animal Crossing and my not so cozy games: The Witcher 3 and Skyrim. I’ve definitely have had those rage quits with those games. Especially because I’m not the best at video games 😭. So thanks for the switch up 🙏🏽
@@livrosecreates those games sometimes really stress me out. I’ve neglected them because I’m at a point where I can’t survive! And I’m still so underpowered compared to the goblins (Skyrim). Like nothing I do, is stopping them from killing me. So I have been redesigning my island... LOL
Great list, I saw several that I might have to pick up now! The Touryst especially caught my attention. One of my all time favorite things to do in BotW is going to the south on the coast, picking up a fishing spear, and then throwing it at fish to catch them. Kind of hoping for fishing poles in BotW 2 or a designated fishing spot, but if all else fails I'll go back to spear fishing in the shallows of Faron's coastline.
I recommend to play old Zelda titles before playing breath of the wild because then you can enjoy the story and some easter eggs in it waaay more. For example: TLoZ The Wind Waker or TLoZ Skyward Sword
I just found you channel and I gotta say I love your vibe. Thank you for all these great suggestions. I see you played atelier ryza2, I would suggest trying the first one also but mostly the older titles. My favorite is Lulua. No time limit, adorable protagonist and cast members.
Thank you for the recommendation! Your support means so much 💖
I loved playing A Short Hike! It’s beautiful and so relaxing, with really sweet characters. It’s not a lengthy game but it was one of my favourites last year! And the ending is so satisfying and pretty ✨
This is my favorite game of all time!!! Do you know if any other similar games for the switch? I have been looking for a similar experience🤞
@@juliaadkins8785 Haven Park is super cute and has very similar vibes (without the flying mechanic though), and Time on Frog Island (which just came out) is also about quietly exploring a sweet little island!
Just got Atelier Ryza 2 and can’t put it down.. pretty decent rpg. Love the video!!
Same here! Thank you for watching 😁
My current list is
- ACNH
- Fe
- My time at Portia
- Ni No Kuni
just got a switch yesterday, your videos are really helpful aswell as entertaining! keep it up
How exciting! I’m glad it can help you in some way. I appreciate your support 🤗
Love your recommendations, it's so nice having a female gamer on here that does a lot of nintendo content ❤️ I'm happy that there are now more games out there with female gamers in mind and I really like that the switch have a good amount of otome games and other girlie games :)
Thank you Isabella 🥰 the Switch does have a nice variety of games for everyone!
Just run far far away in the opposite direction and you’re good to go 😆
@@kat. if only it was that easy because last time I did that I got snipped by a bomb arrow 😂
The Hinoxes (is that the word?🤣) are actually really easy to beat, especially when you're on a horse xD
I mean its really not that hard of a game lol I play it in bed all the time
I never thought I would see my boy Yoshi on the list, it felt so satisfying
Yoshi is the best boy 🙌🏼
TH-cam randomly recommended this to me and i'm glad it did! Loved the vibes of the video, you seem really sweet. Staying around for more :) One cozy game I absolutely adore is Unravel two. It's such a sweet little game with beautiful music, generally easy gameplay but has some puzzles in it too. If you haven't checked it out yet, you really should, i think the game is constantly on sale too :D
Thanks so much for checking out my video! I've never tried Unravel but I'll definitely have to check it out 😊
i’m going to buy this! i hope it’s good
Currently playing Unravel 2 with my husband, we love it!
I think you’d really love child of light!! It’s one of my favorite games it’s so beautiful and breathtaking. ALSO FORGOTTON ANNE IS AMAZING!!!
I will definitely check them out!! Thank you for recommending 🥰
Second this forgotton Anne is so good!!
Forgotton Anne is definitely a MUST!!!! I highly recommend it. It gives me legit studio ghibli vibes and has such an amazing story and gameplay!!
I’m so happy you mentioned yoshis crafted world! My little sister and I play co op and it is SO fun!
Love hearing that! I still have to try co-op mode but it’s such a fun game 😊 thanks for watching
When she put untitled goose game i went :o. I was playing that game the other day and I was laughing so hard. Great video btw I've been loving your content recently.

Calming voice!!! was high af last night started watching this video on my switch and dayum the voice, the chill music was perfect!!
Very good list, i love acnh and stardew valley 🤩
Currently im obsessed playing Baba Is You, its such a unique puzzle game and its suuuuper cute!
Ive never heard of it! I’d love to check it out. Thank you for watching and recommending 🤗
Ohhh Spiritfarer looks like something id be into. Thanks for making the vid. Hair looks great.
It’s such a gem! Thank you Justin 🙏🏼
this video was made for me. i'm very much a casual gamer in a house-full of hardcore ones. i love games that allow me to take a moment & relax, so thank you for this.
I love your channel and this vibe so much, you seem like such a sweet person! You're so pretty and your hair looks amazing.
You’re too kind 🤗 thank you so much!
Indeed! 😏
A Short Hike is a FANTASTIC cozy game!! If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend. The initial play through is only around 2 hours, but there’s so much to discover after the fact. It’s super cute and charming!
I really like A Short Hike, and The Last Campfire.
yesss the last campfire is the sweetest game and also lowkey made me cry 😂
@@samanthaadamson2290 Same
this video felt so cozy too!! and super helpful - can’t wait to check out some of these games
This is almost an ASMR video😍
Yeah she has a relaxing voice 😴
Hey s’s whistle and kinda hurt my ears but yeah her tones very chill
I just got a switch today and also discovered ur channel today so thank you sm! Also idk if this is a cozy game bc it gets a bit intense sometimes lol but super Mario galaxy is a great one. The music and the graphic are just so amazing and the story is so emotional. It might just be bc I grew up with it, but I LOVE that game
I already have most of these but Spiritfarer sounds like a game Id like to try, never heard about it so thank you for introducing it to me.
I hope you like it if you do try! Thanks for watching 😄
I just bought A Short Hike after watching another TH-camr’s comment sections recommending it, would definitely add it to this list! 😁
Well ain’t this channel just a gem. Glad TH-cam recommended this video
This was such a nice recommendation! I’m definitely getting Zelda and also “Coffee Talk” after reading the comments! 😊
When the Past Was Around and Gris are also really calming and sweet games. Spirit of the North is great too imo
Great video
I got some games to buy now!! 😂
Thanks for the awesome recommendation
And thank you for watching!! 😄
your voice is so soft and soothing! it really helps with my anxiety, thanks for making cozy calming videos!
Thank you for being here 🥰
I recommend Toad treasure tracker, Stardew valley and Coffee Talk
Calico is a new fave of mine! You run a cat cafe in a tiny village with so many fun characters to meet and you go on quests for them.
You have such a calming voice 💗 nice video!
Thank you for watching 💖
I want to add Calico to the list!! It's kind of silly and sometimes feels lowkey unfinished but its SO FUN and SO CUTE!! Lovely escape from daily life
PSA: The Stardew Valley update just came out for switch!
do you recommend it?
@@valeriasoto9576 yeah I love Stardew Valley. I was waiting to replay it until the new update came out because it added so much, but the game was awesome years ago too.
Hi. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for introducing me to one of the best gaming experiences of my life. I watched this video about a week ago looking for some relaxing games and Spiritfarer was the one that appealed to me the most. I’ve been playing it for hours every day since and I just finished it. It has now joined Breath of the Wild as my favourite game of all time. So thank you for making this video :)
I highly recommend Ori and the blind forest to add in the list of cozy games.
So thanks for the switch up 🙏🏽
that’s my exact switch rotation, too!!
I completely forgot about Yoshi's Crafted World. Definitely have to get on that.
I'm hoping the new Pokemon Snap will be super-cozy to play!
Btw, congrats on the success of your channel, Kat! Incredible :D And well deserved :)
Thanks so much, that means a lot! 🤗 I’m looking forward to Pokemon Snap as well, I never played the original
Love this video! I was given a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and have no idea what I'm doing. These cozy games are more my speed:-)
I recommend to play old Zelda titles before playing breath of the wild because then you can enjoy the story and some easter eggs in it waaay more. For example: TLoZ The Wind Waker or TLoZ Skyward Sword
You have the most chill voice... I put these videos on in the background while I play my switch
This felt like ASMR so the video in itself was nice and cozy
Yeah imagine an audio book with her voice before going to sleep at night 😴
idk if others have already said this but there's something so comforting about the way that you speak and i love the content!
Love your voice, so calming 💕💕
I appreciate you 💗
My favorite cozy game is Child of Light. It has beautiful artwork, and is so relaxing.
Ps love you voice so relaxing after a long day of school just wonderful
I just found you channel and I gotta say I love your vibe. Thank you for all these great suggestions. I see you played atelier ryza2, I would suggest trying the first one also but mostly the older titles. My favorite is Lulua. No time limit, adorable protagonist and cast members. I hope you enjoy this series as it is one of my favorite game series
Your voice is so calm and relaxing. I feel like you should do guided sleep meditations💜
Yeah I could imagine her giving a massage at a health spa it would be so relaxing with her just saying “just relax and empty your mind of all thoughts”
Nice list... There are a few on here that I'd like to try. I highly recommend The Last Campfire... It's beautiful and pretty chill.
